I write pony words. Millions of them. Some people actually think they might be worth reading. I am very thankful for that. Also, I have a Patreon now?

    My birthday

Today I turned 32. For reference, when I started on this site, I was a simple college student. Now I'm married with 4 kids. Time does fly.

    So...

As many of you well know, I'm a father of three. A four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. It's pretty great. Can be difficult, but overall a pretty big blessing. How my wife takes care of three kids five days a week is beyond me, as I have a hard time taking care of them two days a week when my wife goes off to work.

    So yeah...

    Editing help

Yes, I'm calling out for editors again. I want to submit a story to the Cozy Glow contest, and I want to make sure that the story I just wrote for it is good, or "wow, that's a jumbled mess of ideas, far too mean, and the ending is terrible."

Let me know if you'd like to help. Any extra eyes would be highly appreciated.

More health stuff. · 8:48pm Sep 23rd, 2017

So I think I might have figured out why I have no drive for anything lately: sleep apnea. I'm getting a sleep test done soon, but it looks promising. It'll be worth wearing that silly mask if it means that I can life again. Might not even have depression. Might just be that. Might have been that all along.

That would suck, but rock at the same time. Suck because we could have had this figured out years ago, but rock because, hey! We figured it out now.

We'll see, I suppose.

Also, I'm hoping to make it to Nightmare Night in Dallas this year. If I do, hope to see some of you there! Might have a panel.

Enjoyed the new episode today.

I also finally updated A Shadow Hangs Overhead! After over a year! I did it! One more chapter to go!

Also, I've started on this new show called Channel Zero. It's basically the SyFy channel taking popular creepypastas and making a TV show out of them, which I think is totally awesome. Season One is Candle Cove. Season two (which is going on right now) will be NoEnd House. Season three will be one called Staircases, and season four will be one called Hidden Door. Only at S1E2 right now, but it's pretty good so far.

I just love how TV shows are starting to use the internet and its culture for shows now. I know people have been trying to make a Slenderman movie for years now. Who knows what's coming next?

But if there is a season 5 of Channel Zero, I hope it's not Sonic.exe or Jeff the Killer or Smiledog or Suicidemouse.Avi or Squidward's Suicide, or any of the other ones that are really popular, but really dumb. Ted the Caver would be interesting. Or The Showers, 1999, Penpal... Let's not do Ben Drowned, alright?

I'm excited to see where it all goes.

Rainbow Dash as Chuckie?

I can dig it.

Pinkie works as Freddie, but she would have also been fitting as Pennywise.

Good luck to you!

Yo get well soon mate

I hope you get better soon, Bronywriter. Health problems are no fun.

I used to sleep on my back. My wife said I'd quit breathing and she thought I was going to die. Now I sleep on my side. It's more relaxing than having a panicked woman jab you in the ribs at 3AM shouting, "Breathe!"

My brother went through a sleep test years ago, which resulted in the discovery that he'd "woken up" roughly 300+ times during the test period (8 hours, I think). Which of course meant that he got no deep sleep at all. He's been using a BiPAP (the type of device you're referring to) ever since, and has told me that he immediately had a lot more energy than he'd felt in years.

In any case, I hope you feel better soon.

Whoa! You too? Not only was I diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, I also have a sinus cyst. Hopefully you won't need the full face mask. I just have the nose piece and the machine I was given is so quiet, it's like it isn't even there.

However, I've been using it for a good six months and I haven't had any sleeping improvements. That might be just me though.

I actually got a CPAP machine last month. Let me tell you, that first morning after you use it, you feel super weird because you've gotten used to bad sleep. It's like an ache you've had for a long time suddenly disappeared.

I'd kill to get a show made out of the SCP Foundation, to be honest.

EDIT: Happy to see Twilight as Herbert West.

Sleep apnea sucks, man. I was constantly exhausted through high school, but I didn't get tested until halfway through my first year of college. Turns out I stop breathing about 36 times an hour, which means I get no REM sleep. I've been using my CPAP (another name for the mask that blows air and keeps you from dying) and didn't realize anything noticeable myself, but then one night a few weeks ago I decided to try sleeping without it, and when I woke up I felt like complete crap. Turns out my CPAP was helping, I just didn't realize it. So..... yeah. Use your CPAP kids.

hey, I will see you at nightmare nights Dallas!
