Finally Caught Up On Season 7 · 4:35pm Sep 11th, 2017
All the way up to Daring Done. So let's see...
Not Asking For Trouble... Best Pinkie episode since The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows.
I found Discordant Harmony adorable, if a tad on the predictable side.
And wow, The Perfect Pear... I teared up a little!
Fame and Misfortune was incredible. It was as if the fandom invaded Ponyville itself.
Triple Threat was pretty good; though we viewed it as more of an "Ember and Thorax" episode rather than a Spike episode.
Campfire Tales seemed little more than filler to me, so, take that for what you will.
To Change A Changeling... How to put this... A conservative is stuck living with a colony full of liberals. Tell me I'm wrong.
Daring Done... Hm. The first half was much better than the second half. Rainbow practically let herself be surrounded by Cabelleron and his henchponies; I don't believe for a second that she couldn't take off like a shot from the base of the statue.
Excuse my asking but what's the point of this blog anyway.?

Succinct feedback on the episodes I caught up on last night?

Maybe
More like a traditionalist conservative is stuck in a camp full of hippies. It was pretty damn hilarious.
Somewhat, it does seem to have some political undertones in the whole "green changeling/blue changeling" identity thing and the belief that Phayranx may be a lost cause.
Normally I wouldn't have bothered with the Pharnyx episode, but given the circumstances, I can let it slide.
Also, it seemed to mock extreme liberal trends like Safe Spaces.

Hopefully I can elaborate more in Letters when I get to it.
4665370 More like a few swipes at the whole "Gender Identity" issue of the LGBTQ community, and apparently there are "Feelings Forums" to some extent up in Canada from what I've heard.
I'm borrowing this from my comment on the site post for Daring Done, but for me it was more than just the fact that Rainbow could've flown away. Caballeron stands out as one of the few FiM villains who has no qualms about murdering his enemies, but apart from that, he's little more than a thief and a scoundrel. Rainbow Dash has dealt with far worse foes with her friends. This is the same pony who took a swing at a manticore in the season one opener and Discord in the season two opener (granted, neither of those ended very well, but she certainly tried). And during the Canterlot invasion, she had to be restrained by two Changelings while her friends were led back to Chrysalis on hoof. I would've accepted it if she at least fought Cabelleron's henchponies and got overwhelmed, but simply cowering at Caballeron's hooves while his goons captured her didn't make much sense.
But other than that, the episode was fine.

And with all her fights against him, how did Daring not recognize Cabelleron?

I watch Arrow, so believe it or not, I can let that one slide.
