    Not Dead!

    Go figure, huh!?

I know, I know, I said I wouldn't, but fell off the grid, and I'm aware that I haven't even responded to messages on here in a couple of years.

Wet Pussy III: Tit Fracas - New Today

    Hello Everypony,

Yep, I did it again. What began with me just being sick for a few days and desiring to entertain myself just became a trifecta of misunderstanding madness. Not sorry! :rainbowlaugh:

Anyway, good to see you all, as it is good to chatter with you on Discord. Don't be strangers and enjoy!

    Goodnight, Bronycon...

    ...

I'm sorry, but by the quiet glow of a city soon to wake at 4am, I don't have it in me to say much more. The hardest part is not going back to life. It's going back to a world where none of this is really understood.

    Really Now

So I'm looking over the performance of my stories, and it occurs to me.

You people just want me to write about mares with ahems, don't you.

Yes, that's a highly technical term.

Bronycon 2017 - A Weekend of Horse Love · 4:18pm Aug 15th, 2017

...not that kind of horse love. Hush. We're ponies here, not horses.

I expected no less than a wonderful time this year, and I was certainly not disappointed. Many games of TSSSF (shipfic) were played, including one where this terrifying combination came up:

Seriously, blow that up and read it. I might have to have a talk with the guy who created that Luna expansion I picked up in the vendor hall!

Here's another lovely gem from Andy Price's table that really spoke to me-

Apparently Andy shares my love for the Blues Brothers. It's something I grew up with, it's infinitely quotable, and dammit, look at all that detail. Aretha Franklin pony, Ray Charles Pony, Carrie Fischer pony, Matt "Guitar" Murphy pony, Donald "Duck" Dunn pony, Blue Lou Marini pony (etc, lest I list out the entire band), Elwood's tatoo is in the right place, it's 106 miles to Chicoltgo, they've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark...and they're wearing sunglasses. HIT IT!

Anyway, this was a joy to obtain and had Andy not been utterly swamped with commissions every time I happened to chance by, I would have expressed my appreciation.

I met a number of artists who have done great things, including Silfoe (I'm quite willing to write Tuna if you still want to do a trade!), Sciggles (Because I have one of her pictures on my cell phone case, and I adore it, so I had to let her know that.), NPCtendo (because I had to share those box designs for Pony Quest, and wait--you made a 'Master Edition' of the game? Take my money!!), BobDude (Because yes to all your Sweetie Belle stuff, and SB Pulp Fiction mug might just be the best thing ever), and SnuggleTrumpet/Vinylwear (I'm not actually certain if that's your name or you were just assisting at that booth friend, but you're a fine GM and those Maid games I will not soon forget!)

Other highlights included three Maid the RPG games with ponies, two of which ran until 2am and the third wasn't supposed to happen at all, but we all just couldn't help ourselves. For those who are not familiar with Maid, the spice of the game is the fact that everything about your character is randomly generated - personality, colors, weapons, background, quirks, flaws, stats, you name it. Thus, you roll up...something, and you must then do your best to RP it. In game #1, my filly android vampire lolita maid and her mega-man style gun arm opened fire on Celestia, mistaking her for a changeling, and then brought about the second coming of Nightmare Moon by encouraging some ancient evil to help her fight a war against dust bunnies. In game #2, my filly android lolita (I rolled all of those again, hush) really should NOT have been given a chainsaw and told to chop firewood without being told exactly WHERE to get said firewood, and in game #3, my sexy assassin exhibitionst who had a contract on Spike tried unsuccessfully to destroy the poor dragon with various distracting traps consisting of lewd Rarity imagery (and eventually Rarity herself). I failed...but he died anyway at some point. I'm taking credit dammit, even if I ended up with the Twilight/Starlight mafia on my tail for trying in the first place!

Ah, Maid. Play it where it lays.

On to the social aspects of con. I thank Morning Sun for insisting I go to the fanfic writer's dinner on saturday night. Trick Question, who in her infinite kindness provided me with crash space on sunday night (couldn't afford an extra night in my own room), consequently ended up providing me with no Fluttershy escape from party number two, since I was there already when it started (no really, this is a good thing, as it precluded me being left alone in shyness to make up some dumb excuse for not going). I admit that I am not up on the latest social memes so Ponies the Anthology did little for me, but the Totally Legit Recaps were fun, and the somewhat-inebriated pony tarot reading from Horizon at 3am said a lot to me - thank you for that, my friend.

Anyway, some of you have met me now, and might have noticed I tend to be quiet. Please don't assume this means I'm not having fun or don't want to be there. I'm just new, and around new people...well, this is why Fluttershy is best pony to me. I get her, believe me. I like listening though, I like watching fun things happen, and the more I get to know people, the more I will eventually bloom into later season Fluttershy. Believe it or not, I can bloom into much more, the more comfortable I get. We'll get there.

It was lovely meeting you all, having 4077th chat with Robcakeran53, and trading story barbs with Zyrian (Not all my stories are like that! Read Custodian: Pegasus Nights, which is more dear to me anyway, and meanwhile I will see what I can do to give you another Gleam or Shine to rant over)!

Today I recover, for while I am blessed with a strong immune system, my stomach is weak and I blasted it hard with too many blended Rainbow Dashes and pizzas. I have another commission I'm in the middle of, but once I get through that, I'll be looking to bust out some new ideas.

Thank you all, forgive me for anyone I forgot to mention, please feel free to bug me at any time (no time is a bad time, if I'm asleep during a chat I simply won't reply right away), and PONY ON!

Huff! No mention of even me! D: Your roomie! *Baps Wish with something lewd* :P

Well you were there the whole time! Sorry :twilightsheepish:

I have failed :raritydespair:

Seriously, if it was at all inspirational and/or entertaining, I'm glad to have provided it! Here's hoping you find a good resolution on the two things.

My scheming comes to fruition.

Muuuuhahahahahahahaha

I was somewhat inebriated, as a result of the hour plus a small amount of burbon. It might have been moreso the hour - I haven't had a chance to explore 3am con introspection in quite some time. True drunkeness makes me either bubbly or weepy depending on the mood around me, but it's a rare thing to find me like that these days. You seem to hold your liquor pretty well, and I'll say that in my opinion, you didn't fail at all. I enjoyed the experience immensely and perhaps it'll come up again sometime

You are a meddler!

Don't stop being a meddler :raritywink:

It was a blast to both meet and hang out with you, hope to see your next year :)

4636474
Longer next time, certainly

4636389
No worries about that! Auntie Pinkariestia can't help herself!

Now I just have to get talked into Trot next year, though I don't suspect that will be too difficult.

I'm glad to have finally met you, and also sad we only met a couple of times for short periods. We really need to try and sit down next time and chat for a while.

4636921
That we do, at the Swamp even!

Yeah I'm a bit of a wallflower when I don't know people in person the first time, even when I know them online already. I do get over it the more familiar I become though, and I'm hoping to go to more than one con next year.

Meanwhile, I know it's not exactly the same, but there is no time that is 'not okay' to message me. That's what I tell everybody so they don't have to second guess themselves. I turn my notifications off when I'm sleeping so all it means is that if I absolutely cannot speak, I'll just get back to you when I can. But strange hours of the morning are fine too. Who knows, I might even be awake! Send some fandom thing my way if you can't think of a topic. I'm not very worldly so chances are I haven't seen it :twilightsheepish:

I'd like to have more folks to talk to!

Will do, and you totally need to attend Trotcon. It's a lot smaller and calmer than BC.

4637255
I am strongly considering it this time around, yes. Though I will need to secure a roomie. I came up on Anime conventions and thus even BronyCon doesn't seem particularly large to me, but even then, I could certainly do with a relaxacon :)

Well just let me know. You can room with me.

I appreciate the offer. Something will get worked out by then!
