Notes from Unfinished Stories and Opportunity

    Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

I know I have been quiet for the past several months, but in case you didn't know, allow me to explain.

I've decided that since I have twelve stories that are still unfinished, I'm going to re-read them to see how to plan them out. And while I was reading and making notes, I've come to a realization. Something to give you, the reader, a unique opportunity.

    Plans Going Forward

    Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

Before anyone out there get any ideas that, "Hey, Cracked, I have an idea for a story, do you take up requests?" Or if any of you beg for a sequel from any of the more recent stories, I'm gonna have to do something that I never thought I would say here.

    No.

Near Future Story? · 9:26pm Aug 10th, 2017

Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,

Currently, I am going to be focusing on “The Lioness and the Unicorn” for a while until the thing is finished. But in the mean time, I have been thinking about stories that I may do once that story is done. To which, I want to get some of your opinions on the idea that I came up with today.

I have been tempted of doing another music base story once again, something that I want to do something off of the idea of “Beethoven’s Tenth,” but with a unique spin on it. Well, I have been looking into some documentaries about Mozart. So, I have been thinking of a way to not necessary repeat the same story as the Beethoven one in which it’s a Human in Equestria story. Instead, I came up with the following:

It might be a multiple chapter, first person story through the perspective of Wolfgang Amadeus Moztrot. Where near the end of his life when he was about to die, he is carried off through time by an accidental spell towards Equestria’s present. Since their modern medicine is able to save Moztrot’s life, he now has to not only get used to being in a new time period and culture, but also morns the lost of his family and friends that at that point have been long dead. In between of trying to make sense of this new world and undergoing the shock of how famous his music has become, he dedicates to finishing his Requiem in loving memory of his wife and child.

So, what do you guys think? Once I finish that Star Swirl and Queen Elizabeth I story, should I turn my attention to this?

I’ll be waiting to hear from you.

Your fellow writer and closeted Brony,

- CrackedInkWell.

What a highly ambitious story & concept! seeing how your Beethoven(I never read it cause of too many chapters also have stories to read up on.) story did so well with readers. it'll be interesting to see.
Have you heard of Natasha, Pierre & the great comet of 1812? it's amazing. may write it since nobody else is gonna do it...but that will happen later on. unlike my other story that's in limbo right now! it's called love between brothers(a dusk shine x spike story) even though i'm using the r63 name...he's his own character. twilight while still a filly and student of celestia's taking a short cut back to palace from canterlot library goes into alley and is raped. her brother shining armor who was patrol that night hears the scream discovering it's his sister & takes her to celestia who is pissed that this happen to her student. she holds a private trial with twilight as a witness, the rapist was a stallion in the royal guard, celestia sends him to prison for life! then 8 months later has a foal then gives it for adoption(at the risk of a scandal) to a family of peagsai. what just I told you is flashback(that happens later on. told by shining to cadence.) story starts out after season 4 getting her own castle with spike getting his own independence, normal social life and falls in love with dusk unknowingly about twilight's past! a beautiful story with love, music & tragedy hopefully I can finish it somehow. ttfin - ta ta for now! p.s: points to ya if get you the reference?

I think it's an interesting idea.

Assuming the pony is not that far off from his human counterpart, Moztrot would be an example of an historical figure so famous that he's now "famous for being famous". Would he even have time to do any more composition with the constant demands for interviews and appearances on Manehattan's "Famous Ponies Who Can't Dance" show? (The kind of reality program which is sadly pushing the very musicals and operas that Moztrot lived for off of the popular stages of Equestria.)

There's also the scenario often posed for "Shakespeare in the modern day" stories: what would he do for a living? Beethoven was able to capitalize on his status as a unique creature in Equestria; would Moztrot the mere pony be stuck playing his greatest hits in back-alley bars? Of course, one advantage Moztrot would have over Beethoven is that he knows how to be charming.

Well, those were a few random thoughts on the subject; I'm sure you could do better.
