For the second year in a row, I'll be at BronyCon! I'm getting in a little after noon on Friday, and I'll be leaving late Sunday afternoon. And while I'm there, I'll be speaking on two different panels!

Questions about finding an editor, becoming one, or learning what editors, proofreaders, reviewers, and beta-readers do? Learn the ins and outs of editing, self-editing, finding an editor, how to take criticism constructively, and some of the most common rookie mistakes.
Saturday at 2:30 PM in the Hall of the Planets: "Seeing Through Your Characters' Eyes: The Finer Points of Perspective" with Pascoite, Dubs Rewatcher, and GaPJaxie
Perspective is a fundamental choice in storytelling. It has many subtle effects that authors may not consider but make a story flow that much better. Identify where the devil lies in the details of keeping the prose aligned with the chosen perspective.

To all who haven't yet heard about it, it's my pleasure to introduce The Sunset Shipping Contest: Changing Seasons! Organized by a number of the site's premier Sunset Shimmer fans, including myself, Oroboro, and Albinocorn (amongst others), the goal of the SSC is to produce as many Sunset-based shipfics as possible within the month of August! Once the month is up, a panel of judges will read over every fic, and award prizes to the best of the best!

It’s summer vacation, which means it’s time for Sunset to get her first summertime job. But the walls of the Super Sushi cart hold a secret. Someone is poisoning the city's fish supply, and now it's up to Sunset and Twilight to stop them.
A comedy of the pescatarian variety.
That'll be out on Monday, the day after BronyCon... and, incidentally, my 21st birthday. A day to look forward to, no?
