Hey, Everyone!
...Why is it giving a page break after just that?
Anyway, I have some good news! I've got two chapters of DaD ready to be published. I'm working on a third that I would like to be finished before I publish more, though, and I'd like to run it by my editor after completion before I send them all out. They aren't as long as the most recent chapters have been (with the exception of chapter 25), but I thought I'd at least give you all something. Chapter 28 will likely be the shortest of the three—26 and 27 are around 2.5k and 3.5k, respectively, if I recall correctly. I'll temporarily take the story off hiatus as I publish these, but after they're up, I'll put the hiatus status back on. I've been needing to do some job searching, and of course I got inspired to write while I was supposed to be doing that. Figures.
Because of the lengths of these chapters, after they're ready, I'll probably try to have all three published within a span of two weeks, instead of doing one per week. If I'm feeling generous, it might be more frequently than that. We'll see.
On an unrelated note, since I've gained a few new followers since my last posting (either me as a whole or just for DaD), I don't know how many of you are familiar with my medical past (see Through Crimson Eyes and many of my blogs if you feel like doing some searching), but today marks the 21-year anniversary of my heart transplant. I'm not planning anything big today specifically (I'm honestly probably just going to sit around and read some fics that I want to catch up on), but next weekend I'm going up to a New York mountain house (Mohonk, if anyone's heard of it) to see the Perseid Meteor Shower and hang by the lake (and get a massage—I am so looking forward to that). I'll still have some wifi access, but I'm probably going to try and not be on too much (yeah, let's see how well I hold myself to that).
I will try and catch next week's episode shortly after it airs, though. I won't have access to DF, so hopefully someone will post it somewhere that I can access it. I watched The Perfect Pear (again) yesterday and today, and dammit do I still love it. It's basically Romeo & Juliet without the suicide.
Well, that's everything I can think of for now. Until next time, everyone!

PS (adding this after there have already been 71 or so views): For those of you that have watched Perfect Pear, I just realized that pieces of "You're In My Head Like A Catchy Song" sound very much like Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Just a passing thought.
Happy Anniversary! Perfect Pear is really a great episode, maybe I should see it again. Glad to see you keeping with writing.
Yay future updates!!!
