So here I am, sitting in AAIQU studios (my bedroom) as I often do, and I have an idea. Now, for me, having an idea can be a dangerous thing, especially one as bold as this.
You ready? I have dared to dream that Rainbow Dash can be shipped with a male other than Soarin or Big Mac. I know, I should be crucified.
Regardless, I've pressed forward with it, and here we have the very first official Rainbow x Zephyr story, complete with confusion, pining, denial, a potential happy ending, all that good stuff. (Well, we'll get there, at least.)
Now, I won't lie, this is my first attempt at writing a romantic story, and I'm sure that many of you are going to be quite critical of the concept that I've gone for, but I don't mind that. As far as I'm concerned, this is my attempt to bring something new and interesting to the community, and I want to give it my best shot.
If this sounds like something you'd like to read (or criticise and direct hate at) then please go ahead and check it out, any criticism is greatly appreciated, and your comments in general make me very happy.

I wish you the best on that one. A look at the story shows it's already been hit hard with downvotes, but remember that most of the people downvoting probably didn't read it. They're just haters doing what they do
As for me, I'll sit this one out
I'm down for Rainbow being straight (hell, it actually amuses me a lot, especially in stories where other characters are gay), but I'll pass on reading anything with Zephyr in it. Pass without downvoting, mind, because I'm a mature hater 
Anyway, just keep at it and tell the story you want to tell. If it's anything like the Flash Sentry haters, the first wave of downvotes when the story is new is the worst you'll get hit, then you'll slowly get upvotes as people, you know, actually read the fic.
Great and honest support, thank you very much! I completely understand that it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted to be bold here, so that's what I'm gonna do!
Due to the fact that this story could cause a schism between readers, I'll be writing other things at the same time, in an attempt to keep everyone happy.

ps: in my personal opinion Zephyr is better than Flash like as far as I've seen Flash is a completely two dimensional character that literally exists as a plot device, whereas despite the fact that Zephyr is overtly a prick, he is quite relatable, and has clearly been allowed to develop a lot of this behaviour due to his upbringing etc. Plus, he's pretty funny, and nicer at the end of his episode. (Like come on, compare him to lightning dust, people got over her.) Anyways, I'm going to stop here now cause it's 2017 and it's dangerous to have an opinion in 2017!
