Explaining the 'slow' chapter this week. · 7:24pm May 23rd, 2017
Yes, I know I do this on a regular basis, but I feel like keeping you guys in the loop is better than making everybody wait because I'm a giant derpus.
So, they're doing work on the roof of my apartment complex. This would, of course, be fine if I didn't live on the third story. It's compounded by working third shift and sleeping during the day. Yes, this is my private Hell. For two days in a row I haven't slept.
I remember sleep, and it was beautiful, but it is now gone.
I will keep trying, and every day I sit down to the keyboard, but it might not be that fast.
Love and kind wishes to everyone. I WILL have it in your hooves, soon.
-Chessie
When its done, its done. I dont care if its super slow, or super fast. I'd happily wait till its done right. And you are in the frame to right it in the way its done.
So rest well, soon i hope. And have a great day!
I kinda want to make a "Sleep is for the weak!" comment, but you know what, I will not do that.
Sleep is fking important and it is more important that you keep yourself well. If you find that working on this fiction calms you and balances you out then go ahead, write as you want. But if it frustrates you or stops are too frequent you should consider properly stepping away from writing until you can get proper sleep.
It does not matter if the wait becomes longer, if we know that doing so keeps you well. You are too good of an author to be lost to stress or overwork.
I appreciate your writing for its quality, your work is my legit number one favorite fan fiction because of the quality, work and detail you and all the editors put into it.
The time you spend to make sure that you are at your best is more important than the time you spend writing.
I am also glad that you keep us in the loop with these blogs, thank you for that.
4544313 Here you go.
Heh, I am reminded of the old "Dial M for Monkey" (from Dexter's Lab) titled Magmanamus where the titular magma creature just wanted some quiet from the noisy beings up top.
I'm assuming you've tried wearing earplugs while you sleep? You can get soft foam earplugs at most hardware stores.
Oh, I'm sorry, Chessie; good luck.
been there, friend. Sleep and health are far more important than ponies. do what you gotta do and know we'll still be around when you get to updating.
Third shifters unite and stay strong.
Love how dedicated you are to finishing this amazing work. Hope you catch some rest soon.
