or it could be the tree of Life... (or knowledge)
Since the Norse mythology the Yggdrasil tree connect the nine worlds. I can see why it would work as a cutie mark for Reign Cloud, since he's both Changeling & Pony, in a way he is the living embodiment connecting the ponies & the changelings.
Also the Yggdrasil tree is the center of the universe in Norse mythology. Will he grow up to be powerful prince?
Huh, interesting little choice. While, yes, the bridge is something thats looked at as a possible. I'm still wondering just how much chekov is in store with the dream sequence you tossed in.
Guess we will have to wait and see, sadly, its a shame its going to be the end of this tale soon.

That symbol looks a lot like Yggdrasil from Norse mythology. Others have already put in their two bits so I won't go too far. But this symbol could mean a few things.
It looks like a tree that is not planted in the ground, with it's roots weaving around and seemingly connect with the tree's branches. The branches and roots swirl around like vines, surrounding the whole of the tree.
Someone else mentioned that it looks like the tree is "feeding back to itself" resembling the circle of life. You also mentioned that Reign will be able to see the life line of anyone and anything. Perhaps he has the ability to see this so he can keep the balance between destruction and recreation. Those were the biggest ones I got.
He could also be very good with plants since its a tree with vines and roots everywhere. Or this mark could mean that he is good at grounding things to their past, helping them remember. The vines show a strong weave pattern, so perhaps strengthening our bonds to our roots. Looking back to our roots so we may look to our future, help keep ourselves grounded to what we once were. Many different things. This is your character, take and run with what you want.
