She's looking at you. Yes you. And she is judging you with her eyes. There is no escape.

    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

It's been a long, long road to get to this point. A big thank you to everyone who has been with me during this journey.

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

Some big fights are coming · 7:16pm Apr 27th, 2017

In Eigengrau. Mild spoilers ahead.

The first big fight is about to take place in the next chapter posted. Six on one. It won't be a fair fight, not at all, though it was never intended to be a fight. A certain somepony is sent to collect Dim, and it was believed that he would come along quietly. I think with a little guesswork, people will be able to figure out who is about to come back into the story.

As for the second fight, that occurs some time later, when Dim is trying to heal and recover. Physically, he's fine, more less, but his mind isn't in a good place any longer after what he was forced to do in the first fight. He's trying to recover in a little seaside town, a quiet, delightful place. Dim will be a little messed up at this point, and he has a little voice in his head that tells him to do things. Good things. A kind voice, that Dim believes sounds strangely pink.

What Dim doesn't know is that, the seaside town has committed secession from the Grittish Crowns. While Dim is trying to recover, trying to decide what to do next, if he should go home and face the music, two centuries of pegasus ponies show up to restore order, round up the town, load them onto a train, and place all of them all trial for treason.

Dim says 'no' and in his drug-addled state, he mistakes the army of pegasus ponies as bandits. And there is only one thing a drug-crazed noble with delusions of knighthood can do with an army of bandits. Meanwhile, the little pink voice within his head begs him to stop, pleads with him for end to the killing.

Not long after this, Eigengrau will end, because that will be a good stopping point. All of the worst and darkest parts of the story will be out of the way, when Dim is completely broken and there is nothing left to take from him. When he has achieved perfection. The story will pick up almost right away with another story, which I am thinking about calling 'Homecoming.' We shall see.

But the worst parts of Eigengrau will remain self-contained. I think I'm happy with this arrangement, because I can still tell the story I hoped to tell, but it makes sense to me now to have it in two different parts, as both really are thematically different. This is an ideal solution.

I'm glad you've found an acceptable solution, and shall look forwards to reading the rest of Eigengrau and "Homecoming", or whatever it ends up being called.

I can't wait.

Sounds interesting

A good idea. Happy you found a solution. I'll be there. :raritywink:

Glad you found a way to tell these stories that works. I've really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to how Eigengrau wraps up.

How exciting - you still amaze me by juggling so many stories and ideas at once. Finding a chapter from one story or another waiting for me each day is always a happy spot in my schedule, especially as of late.

I wonder what I would have to do to truly be able to roll out the same amount of content you do all the time. That is amazing.

Truly I am crap.

And I'm again, left in the dust.

Congratulations on Eigengrau, seems that I there lies another milestone to try and surpass. Truly you have made a Byronic character with this one. I knell in awe.

[Insert forced Spider-Man joke here.]
