For folks waiting on TLaTU... · 5:43pm Mar 28th, 2017
It'll be a few weeks more before I return to it, as I swore to finish off Five Star Service first. Just one chapter of it remains, then I owe Raven a Call of Duty: Equestrian Warfare chapter, then TLaTU is up to bat and I will finish it in turn, alternating its final chapters with those of Rise of Firefly.
However... for those who don't follow my other stories, the latest two chapters of Five Star Service feature Phoenix Wright in all but name, basically telling the story of what would have come of him in the Gentlemanverse.
Though an entirely separate verse where a portal was opened between Earth and Equestria, resulting in (among many other things) an organization called Gentleman for Mares where male human escorts are offered to love-starved mates in male-poor Equestria, it gives me a way to tie my stories at least loosely together and better yet, gives me the chance to ship Phoenix anew, this time with one of my other flagship characters and from an entirely different point in his canon. Five Star Service was my first story on site, and a very different one with a unique story format, told through the perspective of an earth pony mare named Five Stars as a series of magazine articles detailing how and why Gentleman for Mares (original and very highly rated story is Gentleman for Mares found here: https://www.fimfiction.net/index.php?view=category&user=39110) was born.
I know that probably sounds crazy, but trust me, it works. If you like well-varied story-driven clop like TLaTU, you might like this as well and I promise the treatment of Phoenix is good and keeps to his character. TLaTU remains on hold for a few weeks more, but that doesn't mean Phoenix is forgotten! Five Star Service is another M-rated story, so look at the bottom of my stories list:
