Good lord, this has so much possibility to be hilariously awkward, or just plain hilarious!
Really looking forward to how Marinette's parents react when Marinette comes back and tells them. Also looking forward to the reactions of Alya, (I think his name was Niko?), and Chloe.
I've been on a Miraculous Ladybug binge lately, watched all 26 episodes and even began work on my own little fic, so this pleases me greatly.
4440257 Nino. (Don't worry, I've done that too.) Oh, and re: your review on Coin Flip (because I'm too lazy to deal with FF.net's reply system): it's kinda like Pony Postscripts over here. I do them when I have an idea for one. I think I had an idea for one last week, but I forgot it somewhere between dreams and wakefulness--a thing that happens to me far too often, and one of the reasons I'm determined to get a smartphone ASAP. It's a lot easier to not forget shit I come up with when I go to bed if I can jot it down real quick without having to get up once I'm comfycozy.

Alright. Two more things to say.
One, I love that Gabriel immediately nixed Chloe as even being a possible selection for this. And Nathalie determining Marinette as the only possible match...does she ship them? :P
Two, can I submit 'what if' ideas regarding the episodes to see if they give you any inspiration?
4440444 Sure, go ahead and PM me, can't say I'll take you up on any of them.
And I wouldn't go so far as to say Nathalie ships them. She simply has more awareness of the individuals Adrien socializes with than Gabriel does, and being the thorough professional she is, you can bet she has complete background checks on every kid in Adrien's class. Add to that Marinette having won that bowler hat contest, and you can bet Nathalie's been observing her closely.

...is it weird that I'm thinking Nathalie might figure out from the social media posts and photographs that Adrien and Marinette are Chat Noir and Ladybug respectively...and that they don't know? Considering Nathalie's bound to know about Adrien's infatuation with Ladybug by now, that would be hilarious to see unfold.

While it would be entertaining, I think this would be highly unlikely. Remember that while Adrien has no social media prescence up to this point, Marinette does. If it were possible for her to be outed via social media, it would have happened already.

The posts I meant specifically would be the ones where they try to explain what happened on the dates 'together' when they had to part ways to put on their masks.

All they'd need to do is post a comment on how the date was ruined by the akuma or how they had to reschedule/change their plans due to the akuma attack (or 'unforseen circumstances' depending on how close they were to the attack). They are not obligated to post everything they do during a date. Adrien and Marinette would be in danger of being outed to each other, but not to anyone following them on social media.

And what about dates nowhere near the Akuma that they have to break because they have to run off to fight it? And the 'excuses' they come up with?

"To bad we had to cancel/reschedule due to unforseen circumstances/unexpected events". Again, they don't have to give specific details, only that something unexpected came up and they had to cancel. That's all the public needs to know. The excuses they'd have to give each other are a different story (and more likely to lead to a reveal). All the public/social media users would know is that they suddenly left for some unknown reason. Speculations will be be made, but its unlikely that anyone is going to conclude that "they're Ladybug and Chat Noir' just because of that; they won't exactly be the first couple to suddenly cancel a date for no reason.
