Looking back, I must admit to having mixed feelings about my efforts on FIMfiction during 2016. I got mostly good reactions to the stories I wrote, including one (Pas de Deux) making the RCL. But if I'm reasonably reassured that my writing skills are showing some progression, I am somewhat disappointed with the quantity of words I've published on the site.

I've made various apologies and appeals for patience to my readers, the gist of which is that family and work obligations have curtailed the time I've had for writing. But that's only part of the story. I've had a so-far unreleased writing project that has monopolized much what little writing time I did manage to score .

To those out there waiting for a continuation of "A Herd of my Own", all I can say is that my intent is to continue and finish the story in 2017. I have a few other story ideas as well - but all of that in good time. What I can state with confidence is that I intend to continue writing on FIMfiction for at least another year. After that, we'll see if my ambitions lead me elsewhere. Until then, best wishes for a safe, healthy, happy and prosperous New Year to all!

Thanks, and right back at'cha! :scootangel:

Yeah, I noticed that you weren't getting out a lotta words...

I must admit to be hoping you get back to O Blessed Night, because I was enjoying the story (and the typically minor edits i could help with) but I understand if that muse is not going in that direction. Not to mention I have no room to judge. I've written less this year with what is probably more free time.

Although I still published something. Yay a thing.

No matter which though, I'm looking forward to it and hoping that words or not you have a great new year.

And the same to you and yours as well, 4364805 !
