What is one seemingly nitpicky complaint that can completely shatter your enjoyement of a story? And on the flipside... Is there any seemingly odd element that can somewhat save a story that you otherwise disliked?

Nitpicky thing? Lack of proper tags, decent-ish cover art, not using the A/N and other features like bold or italics, and an organized story page. Also, if it's by 'NorrisThePony'. Thing I like in a story that's weird? Execution can do wonders, really. If you manage to have a good enough style all sorts of things can work. I've def. read some weird stuff just for that alone.

How much longer till Favorable Alignment is done? In terms of words, at least.

4360625 Words? I'm not so sure, I originally projected it to only be 90,000 some words so this was certainly a surprise to me. As I type this, I'm also working on chapter 33. The chapters are usually outlined typed in batches of five based on various notes that are re-adapted from various, looser outlines that allow room for freedom to the chapters that are published. While I can't estimate the word count, I can say that the story will probably have 15 more chapters (and an epilogue) before the next arc of stories starts.

This won't be unfinished - I have the story ready and everything, it's just long.

4360644 Thank you! If FA ever fails to update it's basically because I have to edit stuff as well, most of the time and such. Or the chapter is just going to be a long one. Sometimes I run out of pre-written, pre-edited chapters.

tl;dr I basically don't go on hiatus ever, even on holidays. If I do, I blog about it.
