it's 10:5 but it's not something "big" to few people to consider it an issue

I usually give my thumbs up after a few chapters if I am enjoying the story and a Fav near the end, unless it absolutely catches my attention. I want to see how this new soul does in Equestria first and if Applejack ever finds out she has basically been conned and this isn't her beloved big brother.
I am busy at work right now so I can't comment on the story content. It is a bit light on details for a first published story. I'd normally expect either the situation being immediately enthralling or around 5+k words to set it up. A 2k setup with slow advancement may make people hesitate to upvote without seeing more while others may down vote immediately.
There's a large and semi-organized group of people who are anti-Human to Pony TF stories, especially ones with a dark theme. I'm willing to bet the majority of the downvotes came from them. You're going to have to rely on comments for any meaningful feedback on this one, the rating is not likely to be especially meaningful.
I think most people aren't big fans of near complete identity death especially when it happens so fast without much of a fight.
I'm gonna wait before I decide.

TBH we just randomly checked the Feed just now and haven't seen the new story notice. We bet it's just anti-HiE monitors based on above comments, worry not about the thumbs until you get at least 30.
I might read it eventually, but I've discovered 'Ratman' which is kind of like my hero academia, Captain Flamenco (not Captain Flamingo) and Zetman.
I'll be reading it soon. I'm in the middle of the dashverse right now, gotta finish that first.

...incidentally, I have not ruled out -faving and +ultraing some of your silver stories. They're just so epically long it might scare people if I told them they were that much fun.
