Review Roundup: November 14th - 25th · 12:53am Nov 28th, 2016
It's that time of year again! Go slap a Santa hat on your avatar, if you're the kind of person who thinks that's fun! If you're the kind of person who thinks that's sorta dumb, then feel free to not do that thing, though. I can relate; sometimes I think things are sorta dumb, too. But personally, I kind of like this tradition, and even if The Descendant's not around to pimp Santa hats, I'd be happy to see it keep being A Thing.
Know what else is a thing? My reviews! Here's what I've been up to over at One Man's Pony Ramblings over the last two weeks:
Monday, November 14, 2016: Fandom Classics Part 187: The Parliament of Dreams
My review of Wheller's tale of a post-princess Equestria, and a pony who gets caught up in an international corporate conspiracy.
Wednesday, November 16, 2016: How I Picked the Fics I Picked When I Picked Fics
A look at my last couple of mini-reviews, and how the stories therefrom ended up on my to-read list in the first place.
Friday, November 18, 2016: Fandom Classics Part 188: Dear Idiot
My review of The Descendant's glimpse of what kind of letter Princess Celestia might right to Prince Blueblood, were she to decide to be just a tad more candid than usual.
Monday, November 21, 2016: Mini-Reviews Round 160
Short reviews of Delusions, by Touch the Sky; Culling a Bad Branch, by Goat Licker; and Wayfarer, by The Plebeian.
Wednesday, November 23, 2016: Fandom Classics Part 189: What if: Rarity from The Three Sisters met with Chrysalis
My review of WandererD's sequel about Rarity meeting her sister: Chrysalis, queen of the Changelings.
Friday, November 25, 2016: No Post
Holiday post-skipping! Hope you had as pleasant a Thanksgiving as I did!
And they will descend upon us like a plague of locusts. A plague of colorful, soft fuzzy locusts we put over our heads. Which is to say, not very much like locusts at all.
But dumb things can be fun! Anyway, my Santa hat avatar feels extra special to me this year, having finally left retail -- it's been soooooo long since I last actually looked forward to Christmas
