More True Victor, More Art · 12:18am Nov 21st, 2016

I'm back again, this time with a few more pictures that were drawn during True Victor's long writing span that refer to events and stuff that happens in the chapter.

I just wanted to share 'em.

For those of you that are interested, the next chapter will be up on Thursday, same time as today. Be sure to check it out if you enjoyed the story or are interested in getting started.

Above are the two coaches, Spitfire and Harshwhinny. That one got drawn, oh, at least three weeks ago, I think, and I've just been sitting on it for ages. I wanted to practise shading a bit, although I think Spitfire's eyes came out a bit wobbly.

Ah well! Learning curve, and all that.

This one was something different I wanted to try out. The bit of the chapter where Rainbow goes and gets really soggy was one of the breaks in the training I enjoyed writing, so I wanted to try and draw it whilst making the whole thing just feel kinda wet. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, as it looks kinda washed out to me, even if the lines aren't as crisp as I usually try to make them.

The last one I drew for this chapter is actually really rather recent, portraying Applejack training in the magic water (although you'll notice due to my inability to make water look good there's no water falling around her). I confess I had been watching far too much One Punch Man and got a bit carried away. I also wanted to try a more pencil-y approach to the outlines. I hope it came out halfway decently, although I confess I'm still a bit new to doing drawings.

That's all from me today. I hope to see you soon!
