Apparently Kanye West is running for president in 2020. I'm just going to flat out say that I don't want him in the Whitehouse.
There are many reasons I don't want him there. But I'm going to focus on the most reasonable and fair arguments to why I would not like Kanye West to become president of The United States.
For one thing, I don't think he would continue to help build up our country economically. Kanye is in a bunch of debt. He hasn't made the smartest business decisions. And we need someone who will continue to make the right economic decisions for this country.
I also would not want Kim Kardashian as the first lady. She is a horrible example for young girls and would teach them all of the wrong ideals. I think the prospect of having Kim as a first lady in itself is enough to make me never want to vote for Kanye West in 2020.
That being said, I am glad that he chose to stand up for his own political ideals despite what other people said. And I hope that it has a positive effect, especially in regards to the youth who may feel unsure about Trump being president.
But just because Kanye said one reasonable thing, you have to look at all of the not so reasonable things he has said and done over the years. Including trying to crash multiple music award ceremonies because he didn't win any prizes.
Maybe Kanye will surprise everyone and actually have some decent economic policies, trade reforms, and other fresh ideas to bring to the table. But I would still rather see Weird Al run for president than Kanye West. I'm just saying.

I don't think that the U.S. has gone that crazy yet. Even after President McDuck. (That's gonna be my pet name for Trump until he puts his money in a blind trust, like he fucking should.) That being said, I would KILL to see him run. I know the danger of me saying this, but it would be really funny.
Kanye West, with his Turettes coupled with schizophrenia, up there delivering a nice helping of word jambalaya to the country. "Donld, I'm proud of you, I'mma let you finish, but Hillary had one of the best health care policies of all time!!"
But no matter what happens... All of the Lights will always be awesome.
I don't really want Kanye West as president because I think it's pertinent our president is a master of Military Strategy (preferably a seasoned retired officer).

I'm okay with the idea of Kanye running for president as long as he has good plans and ideas to move this country forward. Though, I think Kanye West is trash and would make a pretty bad president. I mean, maybe he'll prove me and many others wrong, but I don't know. And yeah, the idea of having Kim as the first lady and the other Kardashians in the White House makes me want to leave the country. Kim would be an awful role model and first lady. Also, who would want all their childish drama in the White House? The idea of this family being in the most important position in the country really stresses me out, I gotta say.
Though, a debate between Trump and Kanye would be very entertaining.

4312481 Well in there lies the problem. Who watches the watchmen? Who keeps those who seek out corruption from falling into corruption themselves? Can an organization meant to keep government clean of special interests, keep from having the influence of special interests?
The answer, is a resounding no. Eventually they will fall, and the system will become useless.
