Um...how would you guys feel about me re-writing this story...to...improve it as it were
I'm just a simple writer sharing his hobby with the world, hope you all enjoy.
Um...how would you guys feel about me re-writing this story...to...improve it as it were
to be honest I am not following this story I am watching Changeling Mine but I looked back to see how old this story is.
I can not give you a honest answer but I can say if you do a full rewrite you will all most have to pull the old version down so the site does not give you a problem, or just do one chapter at a time and post it as a up date in the old story.
it is all up to you and how you plan to do this.

What I usually do when I do a re-write is delete all the chapters and then post the re-written one's as new chapters, that way their is no confusion and I dont have to deal with posting a new story.

Also sorry for making you wait on Changeling Mine Updates, the next chapter is almost done, and when it's finished, I'll be able to get back into full swing with the story, it's just this chapter is giving me a lot of trouble.

that is no big deal as I have bean helping a few authors with story's hear and there.

the problem with that is the old votes stay on the story and you don't get a honest vote count on the rewrite.
I say that it's your story so you can do what you want with it.
The rewrite would then demolish the sequel it has for the original, or would changes not be that much besides cosmetic stuff like wording and such?

I'm planning on doing some major changes to the series, which will mean the sequel will be null and void, as it will be replaced my a new sequel.

Nice i suppose, why not keep and link the original and sequel to a google docs link then for people interested in reading it for whatever reason.
I havent read either yet but was in my to read pile, will hold off even more now () to see the rewrite. But might be interested in reading the original later to see how much you improved it.
