gratuitous amount of alcohol.
Exercise in the morning. Eat small meals. Coffee.
Sleep is for the Weak.
Music. caffeine usually helps too.
1. Get whatever drug DannyJ uses while writing.
2. Use it with a liter of hard liquor
3. ???
4. Profits!!!
Listen to your favorite music to help you conventrate
Music (I suggest something from vinyl scratch on youtube or something classical) and tea, lots of tea.
Music, music, and more music; your preferred caffeine delivery substance; and re-watching bits of LOTR for inspiration.
Ask for help if you encounter a block you cannot pass. And not just for that, too! Get some pre-readers/editors up there so they can assist you (should you feel the need, of course).
If you feel tired or writing feels like a chore, then stop. Start it again later, because usually that comes with a drop in overall story quality/more errors.
...Anyway, yeah, that's all I've got.
Very weak coffee with a very small amount of brandy in it (If you can legally drink). Keeps the mind active but relaxed without getting tense or drunk.
Otherwise, you can keep sharp by either roleplaying discussing the scenes with one of the characters, or one-person-play acting out the scenes to see how they "feel".
Rule 1- DO NOT DRINK ACHOHOL. I don't want to read a mans drunken ramblings. Unless you write better when you're, because then its ok with me.
Rule 2- Drink generous amounts of coffee, mountain dew, or tea. But beware of the inevitable crash afterwards.
Rule 3- Sometimes music helps
Rule 4- Listen to the afore mentioned rules.
Rule 5- HAVE FUN

You guys rock. I shall be applying these methods during my frenzied writing.
By the way, the title of 'The White Rider' could possibly change. Just a heads up.
If you're going to listen to music, listen to instrumentals, and nothing to intricate. Getting caught up in a song has the opposite effect of what your looking for. I'd download a game soundtrack or something and just loop that.

The White Horsey?
The White "You better get off my back right now you crazy giant... thing"?
Start from one fixed point you already have, then, possibly whilst a bit tired and caffeined-up (from tea), just start going off on tangents: bits of dialogue you want to include, characters your protagonist should meet, events that could happen, whatever. Write them all down, and sort through them in the cold light of day.
I'd probably listen to video game or film music too, if there are tracks that go with the sort of mood your trying to write for.
Hope this helps!
maybe uhhh outlines, let it flow, don't forget to keep your vitals level, coffee, rinse, repeat?
Yeah...what they said. LOTR music helps to fit the mood. Just make sure that it's calm when u need it, and powerful when you writing about a fight or something.
