The problem with doing a story so far in advanced · 4:13pm Aug 20th, 2016
IS this...
I can't really prove I have an idea for my fic before the show did it. I mean I have some plans for the Changlings and Chrysalis in Fall of Starfleet, and this show has actually used them. Now, when I pull out the plot point in the fic I know someone is going to ask.
Is this in relation to the recent eppie
And I'll have to say no, but since everything I wrote is in my little mind, I have no substanal proof.
I will say this though.
Thorax?
Thorax: Yes?
Welcome to the fic, you will be making a guest appearence somewhere in the story.
Thorax: Yay!!!
Though, is anyone else scared that Changelings can become inanimate objects too?
Yay. Best Changleing gets a spot.
Can we also have Kevin in it?
I know the feeling about planning in advance. Don't get me started with how the canon has changed since I planned out a few things about my own stories.
The big question I always face is: Do I stick with the canon as it stood when I came up with the idea? Or do I change/discard the idea to adapt? Especially if I haven't even started the story but it was an idea I really liked.
