Forgive me, but you haven't seen a new chapter of Quantum Vault this week because my release schedule has been a little thrown off. Recently I started releasing chapters for Pinkamena: The Game, a novelization of the Android/PC game 'Pinkamena'. Given that it is a murder mystery story involving no less than seventeen OCs, the planning stages took me some time to work through. The latest chapter of Pinkamena is one of the longest single chapters I've ever written, in an attempt to introduce most of the cast and set the stage to get the story moving along. I'm having an awesome time, but yeah, this means that for the next few months I will be supporting two weekly serial fics. That plus my four hour daily commute, family time with the foals at night, life life etc etc...well.
And on top of it all, I've been doing edits on yet another short story! (Ya like clop? Cause yeah...I'm trying my hoof at clop.)
At any rate, I'm endeavoring not to let either story eclipse the other. If you don't see one or the other of the two release on a given weekend, never fear - I am at work on them both, and they will be out as soon as I can manage it. I'm also experimenting with different release dates and times to see if that does anything for the view count on either story (something I've never really concerned myself with before), so that might make things fluctuate a little bit too.
Some of you have left encouraging comments for me on both stories. I really appreciate that. It helps keep me focused on my love of writing. I'd churn out chapters faster, but I simply will not allow something to be published without running through my own discerning editing process. I'd be doing any reader who chooses to favor me with their time a disservice that way.
The minty mare is moving on to a whole new storyarc - you thought she'd had some messed up situations thrown at her before...

I meant...a different story will be clop. One I haven't published yet. Not the Pinkie story. But...I guess that depends on how folks interpret violent content?
But yeah, Pinkamena: The Game is a murder mystery, and said unpublished story will be non-violent clop. Fair warning. I wanna try everything!
I wish I knew how to manage my time better! My goals are...just to write. And hope folks enjoy it. Thanks for the support of Quantum Vault. I noticed and I really do appreciate it!
