Well, if not for the self-imposed deadline of the Soft Hands contest, I would have left you all with just Dead Nuthatch this month. But surprise! Ye Cannot Get Ye Flask has a sequel no one wanted, and no one will want, because it's maybe the worst story I've ever written. :B Like, I say that a lot, but this time there's no comedy to fall back on. It's just weird and it doesn't make any sense, but it's literaly what convinced me to make the Soft Hands group in the first place. "Soft hands will be a thing," I said, "and this is how I will make it happen."
Of course, I submitted at almost the last possible minute because I was busy with Sentinels stuff all week. <.<
Dead Nuthatch I'm happier with, for all that it's not really a story. I just... I dunno, that happened to me, I wanted to know what Fluttershy would do with it, now I have a story with an artsy title. It happens.
As for things on the horizon. Epic Unicorn History's next chapter is in the works, I'm waiting on my editor, who just got back from a big vacation, so it'll probably realistically be out in August.
My next big thing, however, will be Kamen Rider Taco. Because I realized there's a chance that Legend of Everfree will canon screw me, I want to get it out sooner rather than later. (Granted, having seen the trailer, I think that chance might be a good bit lower than I initially anticipated. It's still going ahead.)
This, however, means doing a few other things first, Iron Rider Rangelkai foremost among them. But since I've also started two fics in the past month, I want to get those finished so I can be less one of those writers (I mean, I'll still be one, just with fewer incomplete stories). LyrAmie will be getting a sequel no one wanted in the form of MLP GO, which is obviously a cash grab on current events. It is also not the horror fic I was talking about last month; that one's currently titled Knowing, and I'm afraid of fucking it up, so it may be a little while in coming.
But I've got a hard deadline with LoE for KRT, so that's gonna happen, one way or another. And then no one will read it, lol. :V
It's a shame that I didn't enter that contest like I was halfway sorta hoping for. I had a concept baed around a minotaur prince and his first visit to Equestria on a diplomatic mission. Oh well, maybe I'll use it later.
I hope you don't lock the soft hands folder until tomorrow morning.
