GAH I AM IN SO MUCH EMOTIONAL AGONY RIGHT NOW · 4:03am Jul 31st, 2016
I have two separate reasons for the two ends of the emotional agony spectrum I'm feeling today. Thankfully, neither of them have to do with my real, physical life, as that's going just fine on my end. This is just fiction-related, that' all.
I'll get the silly one out of the way first.
*deep breath*
OH MY GOSH THAT EPISODE WAS SO ENTERTAINING AND ADORABLE AND FUNNY AND WHY DID IT HAVE TO MAKE ME SHIP QUIBBLEDASH I WAS TRYING SO HARD NOT TO DO THAT BUT THEY WERE SUCH ADORABLE NERDS AT THE BEGINNING AND EVEN WHEN THEY VEHEMENTLY DISAGREED OVER THE LATER DARING DO BOOKS AND QUIBBLE PANTS WAS BEING KIND OF ANNOYING I JUST WANTED THEM TO CONTINUE BEING CUTE NERD FRIENDS AND I'M SO TEMPTED TO DRAW SOMETHING WITH SHIPPER DISCORD BOTHERING THEM LIKE HOW I BEGAN MY DESCENT INTO CHEESEPIE MADNESS!!!!!!!
*cough* Sorry about that. I just accidentally picked up a new ship.
...then again, most of my ships were accidents.
Anyway, Stranger Than Fan Fiction was a good episode. I really liked it.
And now, time for the other item which has me upset for all that it entails and a thing that I'm not looking forward to doing.
Behold... the canon Las Pegasus.
I should not have done my mass edit last fall... I should have just left it alone... I hate that stupid map now... I hate the staff for not revealing the dang city earlier... and I hate them for even thinking that "Pegasus" is even remotely a good pun for "Vegas". IT FITS ANGELES BETTER, YOU MORONS!
And now, it's going to bother me (because I want my main 'verse as close to canon as possible) until I get all those mentions in Brotherly Bonding Time and all the Birthday Bios for both the Vegas and L.A. analogues everywhere in my 'verse all fixed, and considering that it took me a while last time, getting all that done with even more chapters is not going to be fun. I swear, of all the cities to be wrong about, it had to be the very one that held the most plot relevance in BBT. No, do not tell me that I don't have to do it, because I'm kind of peeved right now and I won't be at peace until I've got it fixed.
Joy. I get to waste precious time that could be better spent on writing the next chapter of... whatever multi-parter I'm working on at the moment. And seeing as I'm going on vacation with my family next week, updates for anything most likely won't show up until the second week of August or something. At least I'll be able to squeeze in the next Birthday Bio when the day comes.
*lays down on the floor and curls up into a ball* Uuuuuugggghhhhh...
Are they making their Los Pegasus to be more "Las Vegas" or "Los Angeles"? I always figured "Applewood" was their "Hollywood."

The picture and what description you can make out in the image in the link heavily implies that it's Vegas. That stupid Applewood sign and the location on the map seriously threw me off. Unless it turns out to be a hybrid of the two cities.
Whatever the case, I really, really hate this.
Either way, I have another dilemma involving this--where am I going to put Peanut Butter Sandwich? If he was in Las Pegasus, Cheese would've mentioned that their cousin lived in that city (and is a sports star there) when he got the signal to go there.
Wow. Wordplay fail on their part. My condolences for the second round of reformatting... though given how it appears to be a cloud city, you'd need to more than just change the names.
Also, I agree on the QuibbleDash. It's all too shippable.

So kyoot.
I haven't been caught up on mlp lately, but if there's a new Rainbow Dash ship, I approve!

I'm not sure that you really have to fix your fic. Actually, I had always assumed that Las Pegasus was Las Vegas, but you've already got well underway with your fic. Up to you, but in some upcoming stuff, especially EG, I'll probably consider it a sequel to my own story. On the other hand, I empathize. I'd probably feel the same way.
As for Qubbledash--I thought it was extremely cute. I've actually already had the "more or less canon fuel than CheesePie" conversation with a friend. That was a great episode.
