    Goodbye to Level Dasher...

For anyone who is not aware of Level Dasher, I'm sorry you didn't meet the amazing and charismatic young man. He'd been here for 10 years and gone through so much. Including two heart transplants...Only to be taken early this morning by the bitch Cancer.

    My friend is gone...

Today I learned that my dear friend Mythy or as you would know him TheMyth has passed beyond our world... I don't really know what to say... I wasn't expecting this...Not at all and I have spent much of the last hour or so since learning in tears... He was a dear beloved friend and I am devastated that I won't hear any more of his

New update-medical · 5:07pm Jul 22nd, 2016

So Marc is now in a colonscopy. His blood volume dropped again last night but hopefully they can fix everything easy. I called my new job and they are gonna have me restart orientation and take me off the schedule for next week so none of this is counting against me.

Thank the heavens for small favors.

I don't know what to say. You have every hope and well-wish I can send out there.

That's good to hear about your job, iI had actually forgotten all about it with what had happened.

And he is going to be fine

"none of this is counting against me."

Small miracles indeed. They aren't making you use FMLA leave for this, are they?

Not at all. They even took me off next weeks schedule so it'll never show me as being absent at all. People say a bunch of horrid stuff about Walmart but they really can be kind and understanding.

This is rubbish stuff.
It sounds very similar to the horrible train wreck I went through 14 years ago, where I spent forever losing blood and generally feeling like I'd had every last joule of energy drained from me while the medical types tried to figure stuff out.
It took them the best part of six weeks to come up with Crohn's Disease, and another three months to treat it well enough to go back home.

I sincerely hope your dude hasn't ended up with this, as it is the shittest ride in the world (pun intended). :pinkiesick:
