6 Month Anniversary of Writing: Thank You, Everyone. · 5:07pm Jun 11th, 2016
Wow. Time really does fly. It's been about six months since I started writing my first FiM Fiction ever. Sometime during the later first half of December, 2015 (can't say I completely remember ), I started working on Sweetie Belle's Secret Hearth's Warming, a story I wrote just because I wanted to see a new Holiday story about my favorite ship, SpikeBelle. Writing it was difficult and time-consuming, but fun. I was happy with the end result. The only thing was, I actually didn't plan on posting it here on fimfiction. I didn't think anyone else would like it. It was just supposed to be a legitimate story that I wrote for myself. However, I did show it to a good friend of mine. He's not a brony, but he does watch the show (because I make him ), and he likes it now. He told me that my story actually cute, it warmed his heart, and that I should post it. That was the first thing that made me consider actually posting Sweetie Belle's Secret Hearth's Warming. The second thing that convinced me was much more tragic; I was home babysitting my brother when I received a text from my father saying that a good friend of ours got caught in the machinery at their job and died. I kid you not, right after I finished reading that text, I heard the lyrics "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" play from my brother's TV. It was quite the moment. I was very sad knowing my good friend was gone, especially before I could get him an apple pie for Christmas like I promised. He was a good man and a good friend. Whenever I worked together with him, he always told me to stay in school and share what I have with the world. To honor to my friend, I decided to post Sweetie Belle's Secret Hearth's Warming and dedicate it to him. The first time I submitted, it actually got rejected! Turns out I accidentally posted it with a 2nd Person tag. Hehe, oops . I fixed that little mistake, submitted it again, waited a few hours, and my story got approved. I didn't expect much in terms of feedback. I didn't think many people would bother reading my story, but low and behold, people did read it, and more surprisingly, they liked it. From that day forward, I decided I would continue to write FiM Fictions.
I never thought I would actually be writing this many stories, ever. I would like to thank everyone who has ever given any of my stories their time. I really appreciate it. I hope you all decide to keep reading my stories, and I hope you like the others that I have planned for the future. Despite some low points, it's been a great six months. Hope I enjoy even more time here on FiM Fiction.
Thank you, Everyone
