Sweetie Belle's Mirror, Next Story Update, Friend Draws Picture for Me · 2:23am Jun 3rd, 2016
Sweetie Belle's Mirror has almost 700 views, and the likes are coming along nicely. It may have been a rough start, but time moves along to heal most wounds. Other than itself, I think Mirror's greatest accomplishment is that it reinvigorated interest for its predecessor, Sweetie Belle's Sweet Birthday, and that's awesome. Thanks to everyone who read it, liked, and favorited either story 
. I'll try to outdo myself every time I make another addition to the series.
My next story is coming along slowly but surely. I've been working on it whenever I can, and I know the direction I want to take it, but I've been distracted by life time and time again. I'm sure I'll have it done in the next few weeks.
For a future story than I've been planning on, a personal friend of mine actually drew a drawing for me. It's hand drawn and is apparently inspired by some anime he watches (I'm not really an anime watcher). It fits the story just right, and I think I'll use for the art cover when the time comes. It was really thoughtful of them. Thanks

Looking forward to the next story in this series. If I may offer a suggestion, I would suggest you adding a "human/anthro" (not sure which one) tag, as I read both stories expecting to read about a cute unicorn and a baby Dragon falling in love, only to be taken off guard when I realized that the characters were anthropomorphic. This isn't a bad thing, but I'm not really a human/anthro kind of guy.
I get it. Anime isn't for everyone and isn't going to appeal to everyone. However, if you have the chance, I would encourage you to check some out. I've heard that Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Soul Eater are all really good. While it may not be an anime, I highly recommend Avatar: The Last Airbender. If you haven't seen it yet, you are doing yourself a disservice. The show, to put it bluntly, is amazing. The characters are great, the action is well-choreographed, and it's one of those shows, like Gravity Falls and Steven Universe that sucks you in with its story. Again, highly recommended. If you have the time, watch it.

I have watched Avatar: The Last Airbender plenty of times. I like the series a lot. It's definitely in my top 10 favorite cartoons (probably around the #5 spot). On a side not, while I still very much enjoy the series, I do think age has gotten to it a bit. There are some things about it I don't like as much as I did back then. Don't get me wrong, though. It's still definitely my number 5/6/7 (Not sure exactly. Maybe I'll make a list someday).
As for the anime you suggested, nowadays it's more I'm not willing to go the extra mile to watch anime. To watch any anime, I'd either have to buy the series or go to some questionable website to watch them, and after the last virus attack, that is not a mile I am willing to walk anymore. I used to be a little bit of a watcher a few years back, but that was mostly Gundam and Dragon Ball Z. I was never into everything anime had to offer, so I've never really had any intention to go and watch any more.
I do like Gravity Falls. It's probably somewhere in my lower top 10 favorite cartoons (Sorry for the rough estimate, the only spots I know for certain are the top 4). As for Steven Universe, I've never watched it. Not because I hate it. I just never gave it the time.

3994339 Ha. Bit of a spoiler, isn't it? Well, I can say that my next entry to the series will be mostly focused on Spike and Sweetie Belle along with a couple of companions.
3994344 I'm guessing that means Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. Hard to believe that Spike and Sweetie hadn't kissed until Sweetie Belle's Mirror. Maybe this next entry will involve more romance, kissing, and these two experimenting with and exploring each other.

One of your previous comments caught my attention.
I never considered progressing their relationship that far in this series because, well, they're kids. Plus, I never saw myself writing mature stories. But you do make a point; I plan on making their relationship grow, and that is an eventual step in a relationship. I don't have any plans for that happening right now, but I guess it might be something I have to think about when that bridge comes. Probably not in a mature story, but something I just have to think about now.
For what it's worth, though, I do have a story planned (not in this series) that does delve a bit into that subject a little (not mature though).
