Okay so last night I had a bit of a sobering thought while looking at 'A Scratch On Shining Armor'. It's been up on Fimfiction for almost two years, and the original draft of the first chapter turned three last week.
This isn't acceptable to me and it's sure as hell not acceptable for the people who like that story.
So I'm going to try and keep to a schedule from now on. Every Saturday I'm going to upload a new chapter of 'A Scratch on Shining Armor' until it is completed.
As anadded bonus I'll also try to post an EqG themed one-shot every Sunday. Nothing that will cut into my workload, just small ones.
This Sunday's was Car Radio
This week's chapter of ASOSA is going to be titled 'Tonight'.
Wow. I'm lucky to get a chapter done in 6 months. I'll help as much as I can.

I'm just grateful, and initially shocked at first, to even see an update much less so many following chapters since. Many thanks for picking the story back up and I wish you the best. Just do what you can and we'll continue to look forward to each new chapter as you and your editors can dish out.

3966443 Sigh. Yeah, much how one can't imagine what one feels like knowing a favorite beloved story remain so incomplete at what was basically the final chapters of a story no less. Well, 2016 seems to be a revival of old fics so perhaps some day Pointlessgizmo will pick up his mighty figurative pen and complete Bug In The City.
I'm glad you still feel pride and love for your work, and more so to think of all the readers who appreciate your hard work and want nothing more than to see things through to the end.
Again, thanks very much. It's not often I come across a Vinyl Scratch story that actually centers around her and not just paired up with the other music pony. Nope. This Vinyl is actually her own mare. We get to explore her character, to feel her emotions. Whether she ends up with a grey mare doesn't matter. Because this is Vinyl's and Shining's story. It's a heck of a ride so far seeing her grow as an individual.
I'm deliriously tired right now and the heat isn't helping matters what with this heat wave, so I'll end here and say good night and thanks again as one of those many readers who is more than happy with this fic's revival.
