Observations on Babel and Moving to a Regular Release Schedule · 3:26pm January 10th
Hello all and happy new year (belatedly)
So yesterday I published the final chapter of Observations. That was probably the most difficult story I've ever had to write and I once again need to thank my good friend Lion. Without them, it wouldn't have been possible and I learned a lot while working with them and writing that unique story.
Now while that's done, there's work that needs to be done. Mainly, Babel. It's a story I want to desperately finish and I have a lot of ideas for it. I'm motivated to keep writing it and I don't want that fire to die. So what I'm going to do is move to a weekly release schedule for it. Every Wednesday I'm going to release a new chapter. I don't think I could possibly keep up the release schedule I used for And Hell Followed or Sun and Shield with this, but I realize how important a schedule and deadlines are for my creative process.
With that, I would like to invite everyone to help keep me accountable in this endeavor. I already have a backlog and I'm working on more, but the last thing I want to do is slow down. So if you want to join my Discord to help keep me honest with this promise and also listen to my insane story ramblings, well I would appreciate it.
I want to finish Babel this year. I will finish Babel this year and I will still endeavor to put out more one shots and shorter stories like What Happens In Las Pegasus. That's the dream at least.
Here's to my most productive year ever in 2024.
Best of luck!
Seriously, come join us! We have cookies and pictures of cats, and rambling insanity.
I am liking your universe more and more, sadly don't have much time lately to read it all so am trying to catch up with everything. Keep on the great work.
Can't wait for more Babel updates! Best of luck
