    Please help this get shared.

A friend of mine recently got out of a longtime abusive relationship. Said abuser has moved onto her kids, but because fuck humanity sometimes, her efforts to protect her children have been undermined.

    Well... crap...

So I was playing Fortnite on my Switch in an attempt to relax (yes it helps me relax). And then I heard a rather loud crack from my left Joycon. My character would now only walk slowly. And I can only get icons to move up occasionally. Can't use Up+B moves in smash barely at all...

So. Um... Anyone know where I can get a reasonably cheap replacement for my left joycon?

Thanks to anyone who actually showed up.

I did NOT get the money I needed, but I did get a contribution, so thanks for that... *sighs*

Hey, if nothing else, I managed to get two of my stories updated. That's something, right? Friendship is G.I. and Waking Nightmares: Remix Heart both got updated.

Not bad for 6 hours of work, eh?

Cancelling Conversion Bureau vs. Imperium of Man · 11:20am Apr 15th, 2016

Yeah...

Anyway. I've decided to cancel The Conversion Bureau versus the Imperium of Man. It was written in anger over an influx of Warhammer 40k crossovers where Equestria was butchered with minimal effort, usually by the Imperium. I think it was the one where a single soldier with a shovel ended up forcing all of Equestria to move offplanet that pissed me off the most. I've only now just realized it was a stupid thing for me to write in anger. And it wasn't even going to be that good of a story.

This is what the plot would have been: Equestria would have been all turned into powerful monsters, each with absurdly strong chaos abilities. The initial Inquisition team sent would have been completely overwhelmed, the Exterminatus turned against them by Princess Luna, who would have turned into a being that makes fears come to life. (Example: What would be the worst possible outcome for the people running the Exterminatus ships? The Exterminatus inverting against them. A life-eater virus type of Exterminatus would be on that ship, the magic Luna used transforming the virus into the Conversion virus, turning all the surviving humans on the ship into soulless, near-mindless Newfoals. The transformed people of Equestria would then decide to wage war on the Imperium, going out and seeking every world the Imperium owned, eventually working their way back to Earth, with the intent of converting all of mankind into Newfoals. They would be occasionally chased off by greater threats (Necrons, Tyranids, chaos-charged Space Marines), and their primary opponent would be Ciaphus Cain, who would become the host of the Elements of Harmony after rejecting everyone from Equestria as a potential host. He would be driven off for a while after becoming a host, trying to adjust to his new powers. Eventually, the Equestrians would make their way to Earth and confront the Emperor of Man... only for Celestia to take pity on his condition and give him a painless mercy killing. Then Ciaphus Cain, in full control of the Elements and just as badass as his hype made him out to be, would come in and slaughter 3/4ths of the Equestrian forces, including Luna and Discord, with a single blow. The final battle would be between Princess Celestia and the Element-powered Ciaphus Cain, who would declare himself the true Emperor of Man. Ciaphus and Celestia would kill each other, but not before Ciaphus pointed out the fact that Equestria's actions doomed their universe - the Tyranids had been following Equestria and the Bureau, devouring Newfoal worlds in the wake of their passing. It would have ended with the Tyranids consuming Celestia and Ciaphus just as the two finally died...

Anyway. Expect updates of Waking Nightmares and Episodal Aftermaths this month.

Okay, that is dark, even for Warhammer 40k. Really, really dark and grim. I will just go read normal 40k for a while now.

I'll clear some time to read Waking Nightmares again.

Glad to see that you're back, I'm glad you cancelled this though, writing in anger is never the best idea, speaking from experience, it doesn't produce anything that you yourself would be proud of. I do know what you mean about 40k fics though, I tend dismiss the shallow ones as shallow though, whether it's Imperium Mary Sue inexplicably loving ponies for no reason, or random Imperial death sentence, I prefer deeper crossover fics that don't mess with their sources so much, and provide more substance, for me, namely the 'Age of Iron' stories, which I avoided for the longest time. 'The Dark Ones' is also grade A, but the author hasn't updated the sequel for about a year.
There's another one from th author od 'Dread Chitin' that was one of the best 40k crossovers I've ever read, or was for a long time, but I'm rambling.
Edit: It's 'A Foul Light Shines' by Karazor, about a Trader Dynasty flagship that gets busted up in a warp storm and ends up in Equestria's sphere of influence, I recommend giving it a look.:Edit
Thank KightMysterio.
Keep it up.

Honora Imperator

Glad to see you again. Hope you're feeling better and I look forward to seeing your works

Yeah, it definitely for the best this story doesn't continue.

3871901 I'm actually writing a subtle crossover, where due to random shit, zombies apocalypse in a mega planet, and a Lychguard, and Exarch, an Ordos Xenos Inquisitor, and a Fire Caste Soldier teaming up, and unintentionally revealing something from the 1940's (Call of Duty: Zombies is full of bullshit that's explained away with Element 115.) Also Karloth Valois is getting involved, shit your pants in terror.

Fucking Tyranids, talk about the universe's biggest party crashers, amirite?

This is the only 40k crossover I'll ever need: bam.

What about Crusade's End?

I might have look at that, I don't know much about CoD Zombies but if you drop me a message when you upload it I'll review it for you, it sounds interesting.
Honora Imperator

From what I remember the shovel fic you mentioned was purely satirical/a comedy.

It's hard to feel bad for the Imperium, seeing as their goal is to wipe out all non-human people. But the Tyranids are make the Imperium look like saints: They want to kill all people, human and non-human alike.
