Alright, usually on the first of the month (or sometime around there, whatever) I post an Ask Me Anything blog, where you guys can ask me anything you so desire. This is one of those blogs. However, I've also decided to expand these blogs into a general updates blog as well since I've been posting less and less in terms of blogs as time has gone on, and having a once a month blog just dedicated to AMAs and begging for money on patreon is a bit wasteful. So think of this as a sort of "State of the writer" thing that other authors do. If you don't care about that and just want to ask me a question, skip to the bottom and type away.
A little while ago I started a writing log to keep track of all the words I've been writing. In the month of March, I managed to write 8,561 words. A bit under my goal of 15k, but whatever. I'm getting there.
I will be going to BABScon 2016, and I have a panel about the pros and cons of prose and greentext with the fabulous Flutterpriest on Sunday the 24th. If you live in the West coast of the US or have enough money to fly in from other places, I'd recommend coming to BABS as San Fransisco is an awesome city and the previous two times I've gone to BABScon have been amazing. Plus, I'll be there, and despite looking like some gross cave goblin I'm actually pretty fun to hang out with.
I did write a story for April Fool's Day, but being the lazy and incompetent writer I am, I haven't finished it yet, so you'll just have to deal with your regular run-of-the-mill crackfic when it comes out tomorrow, and not le super ebin prank fic it would have been on April Fool's Day.
Weezer came out with a new album on April 1st, another self titled with a white cover, hence it being dubbed "The White Album". It's a very good record, it sounds like a nice blend of modern Weezer and Pinkerton-era Weezer, so I'd recommend checking it out. My current avatar is Rivers Cumo of Weezer fame to celebrate this fantastic release on their part.
