It really would have been more convenient if it had been on a Saturday.

As some of my loyal readers know, every April First since I've been a member, I've had a portal-gun themed story with Derpy Hooves.

Well, not this year, I'm afraid.

This year, Skeeter the Lurker proposed that I try something new. He proposed that I mix ponies and politics.

So I did.

I'm probably going to regret this. There will be people downvoting because I said mean things about their favorite candidate, there will be people downvoting on general principle . . . meh, whatever.

I can't really point to much specific research I did for the story. Basically, I wrote a chapter, and then watched a cat video to clear my palate <dramatization>.
