Littlest Pet Shop: Season 4 Episode 14 "Steamed" and Episode 15 "Two Peas in a Podcast" (SPOILERS) · 4:59pm Mar 26th, 2016

The second half of the final season of LPS has begun! Who will learn Blythe's secret before the series ends? Will we ever find out more about Blythe's mom? Will Blythe and Youngmee confess their undying love to one another in the series finale? So many questions, so few episodes remaining!

"Steamed"

As Mrs. Twombly's Littlest Pet Street project continues to develop, the first Littlest Pet Street business is getting ready to open: a pet-centric coffee shop. Unfortunately, it seems that the grand opening is coming up a little sooner than expected, and they're nowhere close to ready yet.

Mmm, Biskit fanservice.

...THE BISKITS HAVE A MOTHER?! :pinkiegasp:

...OH MY GOD WHAT IS SHE--

*DIES LAUGHING* The Biskits broke the fourth wall!

Also, their mother is the exact opposite of them!

Hi, Madison! You're still more Osaka than Osaka, I see.

Sugar Sprinkles, never stop being you, you amazing stoner hobo cat.

So the LPS coffee shop has a sign that emits a coffee smell, and the Biskits are applying to be pawristas working for Blythe and Mrs. Twombly.

Dammit, quit leaning on the fourth wall, Biskits! :rainbowlaugh:

When the sign stops making the coffee smell, Russell goes up to investigate. It turns out Pepper was asleep inside the sign, and was making a coffee smell in her sleep. :twilightoops:

Mrs. Twombly decides to hire the Biskit Twins since they're desperate.

Eliza Biskit is...crazy. :rainbowlaugh: I like her already!

...aaand she just turned out to be 100% Biskit.

So, the Biskits are going to turn down the job offer, Russell can't get Pepper to make the sign smell like coffee, and the opening is tomorrow and things are going straight to hell. Pretty much standard operating procedure around here. Oh, and there's a fat orange Cajun cat making an active mess of things. But he turns out to know that Sugar Sprinkles' singing made Pepper smell like coffee instead of skunk...

It barely makes sense in context, folks.

Anyway, so Madison ends up working at Pawrista's, Sugar Sprinkles gets Pepper to smell like coffee again, and the shop opens with a huge line of customers and only one Pawrista who has no idea what she's doing. Then the Biskits, cranky at wanting coffee, step up and do the job they just turned down. Thanks to Blythe and the Biskits (and Sugar Sprinkles), the opening of the first business on Littlest Pet Street manages to be a success.

"Two Peas in a Podcast"

Blythe has a popular fashion vlogcast. With over a million views. The Biskits, jealous of her popularity, decide to create their own vlog.

...didn't we already do this plot in season two's "What, Meme Worry?"

Penny Ling breaks some terrible news that has the entire pet shop in tears: she and her owner are moving away!

...or are they? Penny Ling seems to be enjoying their weeping despair a bit too much.

The sidebar with the scroll of pissed emojis from that one black girl on the Biskits' vlog cracks me up.

Fisher Biskit cons the twins into plastering ads for LEPS on their vlog. This will end in hilarity.

Penny Ling drags things out too far to get too much attention, while the Biskits pull one of their usual Biskit tricks on Blythe out of jealousy. When Blythe tries to leave in a huff, the Biskits pull a Biff on Blythe, and she Martys right into it.

It backfires BADLY on the Biskits, because they learn the only way they can get views on their vlog is by having Blythe on it. When Blythe refuses to come on their show as a regular guest, one of the twins comes up with a "bright" idea:

Pretend to be Blythe!

Because that can't POSSIBLY backfire! :pinkiecrazy:

The emoji sidebar on the Biskits' vlog continues to be the star of the episode. :rainbowlaugh:

So Blythe finds out what the Biskits are doing and gets understandably pissed. After putting them in their place, Blythe returns to the day camp to find the pets all bummed out...and Penny Ling finally comes clean: she's just moving to a bigger apartment in the same building.

Moral of the episode: Being a big phony to get things you want doesn't pay off. Except when it does. Which it did for Penny Ling. Not so much for the Biskits. So I guess there's no real moral here?

... Welp. Now Imma be scavenging for wifi to go watch this now... hmmm... who's wifi to hijack today... Also, Penny is officially the ultimate troll, the Biskits have been taking lessons from Deadpool and Pinkie Pie, and I still want Sugar Sprinkles as a pet for real.:rainbowlaugh:

It's too bad about the show being on its final lap. Atleast there are memories.

I definitely laughed at "Where have you been for the past 3 seasons?"

Subtlety can really make a joke stand out.

I was as shocked as you were to learn the Biskits had a mother. She sounds an awful lot like Marry Poppins, but I know it can't be her.
