My Miraculous Ladybug trilogy is now concluded with the final installment, "Heartless".

Below the cut, some closing thoughts on this unexpected little tale.

Wow.

This has been...a wild whirlwind of a week.

One week ago, I had only seen twelve episodes of Ladybug. I had been planning to hold off any fanfiction projects based on it for quite a while.

Then Nick pulled the plug on the US airings of the show.

Then I spent two straight days binging every episode aired in French to date (which as of now is 24/26 season 1 episodes).

And then I got ideas. And I started writing.

And my ideas begat more ideas. And I kept writing.

Then I saw the episode "Jackady". And it gave me NEW ideas. And I wrote like a possessed man.

Five days and 28,000 words later, here we are.

My first ever Miraculous Ladybug fanfiction is complete, it's a trilogy, and it ended in a way that even I wasn't expecting going in.

I am exhausted, but pleased. I hope you will have enjoyed reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Once you've reached the end, you may be wondering: "is there going to be a sequel?"

You bet your ass there is.

But not for a while yet. At the very least, I want to wait to see what happens in the remaining two episodes of season one before I start in on a continuation to this story. I'd also like to write some unrelated one-shot fluff here and there, when I'm not busy with Persona EG and other stories I've let stagnate.

But I learned something, this past week.

I fucking LOVE writing Ladybug.

And I'm gonna write MORE Ladybug. Count on it.
