    Available!

For the first time in a decade, you can buy a copy of Twilight's List again! And it's got a softcover option too! And and since it's Lulu, if you aren't in North America, the shipping won't kill you! I'm celebrating!

    Small Writing Thing

I participated in another group writing project. You can find it Over here.

I was feeling very cross at the government when I gave Rainbow a metal pipe. I actually love her here though.

    Clang.

    A thing to read

    Hi!

I commissioned a short fic from Monochromatic. You can read it over on Hollow Shades.

It’s rarity and rainbow and twilight being pals.

Didn't think this would ever happen. A week or so ago, a person, who wishes to remain anonymous, contacted me and asked if there were anyway to get a printed copy of Twilight's List again. Of course, buying a one-off with the PDF I've posted would work, but it's over $150 to get a single book done. I commented that, if he (she?) could raise enough interest in a print run, that I would start a third one. Between posts on Facebook and FimFic, enough interest seems to exist, so I am excited to announce the Third Print Run of Twilight's List.

The link above contains all the info you should need, but feel free to contact me with questions. Either here or through Indiegogo's contact form.

So yeah. Not-really-back after 2-ish years. I'll probably try to hang poke my head in here on occasion. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. In case you were wondering, no fimfic notes were emailed to me. I must have forgotten to set something up right. So if you've asked me anything since I left, I haven't seen it.

Great, I'm looking forward having one myself. Thank you.

Btw, what color do you plan the hardcover to be this time?

but it's over $150 to get a single book done.

... Where? Lulu charges $10-50ish for hardbound books depending on page count.

Ho-ly shits, it's kits!
We miss you.

shit yeah :D

I'm not sure yet. Options are Black, Navy Blue (1st edition) , Dark Red(3nd ed), Green. I may do black, as I like dark better. Or I may just stick with red.

Book1one. Single orders are stupid expensive. It gets much lower as you get into double digits. I picked my funding goal based on the expectation of 15 orders. That's almost $750 including indiegogo's cut and an estimated $40 shipping from the company. I have no idea what kinda quality Lulu gives, but B1O gives incredibly high quality output, which is why I still use them.

The person who contacted me didn't want to go cheaper and risk getting something that was "good enough" but would leave them with regret over not going elsewhere. Frankly, I've not found another small order place with the reputation (and proof of the same) as Book1one. Colorwise is great, but they do plate printing. So after $1500, I can start doing books at $20 each until I hit 4 digits of runs. I'm not optimistic enough for that to happen.

To be brutally fair to Book1One, they are much cheaper if you go with softcover. I think A 6"x9" version of List in paperback from them (trade-style cover), would be $20 cheaper. But I know that paperbacks don't satisfy *me* when I want something for sentimental reasons. They don't feel real.

I miss people too.

POOP AFFRIMATIVE!

I was lucky enough that I was able to obtain a 2nd edition copy. With this 3rd printing, I might order one to give to a friend as a gift.
Would mean having to hide it from her until the end of August, cause that is when her birthday is :twilightsheepish:

Not a true return but it is nice to hear from you regardless.

Man, with our exchange rate I just can't pay that. =(((

Glad to have you back, even if it's just intermittently! And I'm definitely glad to have a chance to get a hard copy of Twilight's List.

Hey kits, good to see ya back on, did you hear about our area? That is if you still live around Huntsville, but anyways Google fiber! I can't wait.

3806585
I live near Huntsville, but am over by East Limestone Rd, so I doubt I'll get it.

I did finally get charter to replace AT&T. So I've got 60 mbps instead of 3

For how long is this going?
As I am moving to a new place at the moment I just dont have the money for it right now sadly. :(

3807440
Like 27 more days. I'll likely buy extras because I seriously doubt this will get a 4th run. Then again, I didn't think a 3rd one would happen either.

Same thing as last time. I'll have the PDF on my DA. Ain't gonna cry none if you take it to a local printer and get it done for yourself.

As owner of the first edition (sorry kits, I won't be buying another one, though I'm gonna spread word that a third run is happening) I can attest that the quality is amazing. I've seen many books -- both hard- and softcover -- that don't come even close to this.

Also, the dusk jacket. You know you want it.

I took some time to read it, and I am honestly enjoying it....so I'll buy my standard two copies

3808606 48 copies so far. Plus some you take for yourself.

But I noticed 2 people, who didn't selected a perk, and paid the $45 as contribution instead. Though one of them then paid for the "fan of a fiction" perk too.

That makes potentionaly for two more copies. Just in case You might wanna look at it.

3856148

Hrm... I'll have to dig into that. I'm not certain exactly how non-perk contributions work...

Thanks!

*edit*
Got it to work!
One book ordered!

First real fandom purchase too.
I have been wanting to read Twilights List for a while now, but never got started as I don't have a practical way to read it. Now I can finally get some reading done.

btw let me know if you want the name to link up with purchase. I choose anonymous indigogo.

3861264

As long as you have your indiegogo account stuff done correctly, I have the name and address you used for that. It would be a very poor platform if it didn't give the campaign owner access to a mailing address!

If you have anything special you want me to add when signing the book, use Indiegogo to message me. It *should* make it easier for me to associate names with signature-requests.

ez3

How could I have missed this?! :facehoof: Is it still possible to get a copy?

I'm ordering extras. You'll have to email me once I get teh books in.
