EDIT: "Overshadow", the second part of my Ladybug trilogy, is draft complete at 11,800 words, and editing is in progress.
Cutaway for those not interested in anything not related to horsewords or my usual blog diarrhea. TL;DR version: what started as a one-shot is now a trilogy, and I'm obsessed with finishing it.
Okay, so the followup to Papa Pain, "Overshadow", is 90% complete as of this post. It'll be published on my website and (ugh) Fanfiction.net later today. On the latter, it will be posted as a second chapter of Papa Pain.
The thing is, though...
I'm not done yet.
Watching the episode "Jackady" inspired me.
So, Papa Pain is now going to be a trilogy. I've already written the setup for the third and final installment, "Heartless", into the ending of "Overshadow".
And no, that has nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts. Those up to date on their Ladybug can probably guess why the third installment is titled that.
Now, the thing is...
On the one hand, I don't want to stop working on this when I'm on a roll. On the other hand, I don't want to keep delaying Persona EG over this when I've already delayed it two weeks.
I'm honestly not sure what I'm going to do at this point. But this is one of those "strike while the iron is hot" deals, so...
I don't know. We'll have to see what happens.
In any case, yeah, "Overshadow" is coming out later today. "Heartless" will follow once I get my priorities straight.
I would go with the one that has occupied my head. That way it won't interfere with my main projects.

Can't say I'm a fan of the show, but I did read Papa Pain, and it was pretty good, so I'll probably read the rest.

Obviously, I'm just one Persona EG reader, but even though you don't want to keep delaying it, I don't want you to force yourself to write it if you're enjoying the other project so much.
I know that you would deliver quality work in the next update of this fic.
