Happy anniverary!!!

Yes, it has been one year since Fall of Starfleet has hit this site. And I think its time to reflect a little on this.

So, to start, I want to thank you, all of you. The entire fandom.

Thank you for being so kind, so postitive, welcoming, and fun. Thank you for encouraging me to write what I want, no matter what. Thank you for this.

It makes me kind of laugh about where this little fic has gotten in a year, and how I got here. Mainly because the story is kind of interesting. One day, when I was writing some clopfics in my head, I decided I wanted to try my usual stuff with MLP. However, I just couldn't see myself writing anything with the mane six that made sense. I mean, I used to write some of the most horrible stuff imaginable with some of the coolest ladies in town, (Samus, Lara, Sailor moon ect) but, for some reason, I couldn't with the mane six. So I decdided to try and write it with Starla fom Starfleet. I mean, it wasn't going to be published so why not. However, as I was writing it, and using Dark Conquest as the villian. I began to think of why he was there and what was he doing to the other members of Starfleet. Then I began to think of how the mae six could beat him and save Equestria from him and Grand Ruler. I then began to mix it with a clean story I was writing where the mane six were trapped in a dream world that was United Equestria and they had to use the power of their friendship to get out. Soon, I began to write more and more. until I was soon done.This became my rough draft and the basis for the story. From Oct 2014 till Janurary of 2015 I had worked on it.

I don't know why I had worked hard on it. Why it had drugged me in so much. But, I soon realized why. For one thing, for the first time I had written a clop fic that I had prefered, plot with porn. The story was actually important now, besides the clop. Second, there was no "Rape becomes love", women were badass, and people were smart. Then I was proud of the characters. Whereas before the characters wee intervchangable. I could've used anybody else and it would still be the same story. Here though, it could only be Applejack and Luna. By the time I had finished the rough draft...it was a fic I wanted to publish. So, I did.

Was I scared? Hell yeah I was. It's Mykan, one of the most hated writers out there. I was afraid of being false flagged, I was afraid of breaking a rule, and so much more. Then I realized I wasn't attacking him, I wasn't plagerizing anything, and I was just usign the characters in the same way that Nyx and Little Pip are used. So that boosted my conifidence to try and write. And...I knew it would get so many downvotes.

Heck, I was almost thinking it was getting popular because of the hate alone. But, I held fast, believing that if I just wrote what I wanted, then the quality of my story would shine through. And, it kind of did. I wasn't expecting a tropes page and some of the other things I got. I didn't think I would like writing for this so much. But, there you are.

And all because of you, my fans and this fandom.

Thank you for encouraging me to write what I want. Thank you for giving me the courage to put my stuff outthere.

Trust me, this will end one day. You will see the end of the story. Will I write more? Hell yes!
