I'm not dead, just twitching a little bit... · 4:12pm Feb 18th, 2016
So, I sort of went on an unannounced, unplanned hiatus because life happens. And while I'm not back yet (maybe soon?), I did do a little revision on An Eternity Divided.
Sparkrovitar's gone. Deleted. Woosh.
Yeah, I thought I had an idea that could turn him/it into a good antagonist... but that didn't actually hold together. So, he/it's gone.
You're welcome.
In other news, I'm experimenting with worldbuilding and writing original fiction, specifically with a high-fantasy world (The same level of fantasy as Equestria or Lord of the Rings) that's progressed to pseudo 1920's level technology. In it, literally everyone has magic. (Come to think of it, the nine humanoid races could be easily categorized into groups analogous to the three pony tribes: fliers, body-enhanced, and mages.) I'll probably talk about it more if any of you actually care to hear about it.
And yeah, it's been distracting me from pony. That's one of the reasons why I haven't been updating.
Too bad, Sparkrovitar seemed a good antagonist but by "deleted" you mean he never got out or he never existed?

I hope if you manage to get a book from your other idea, you put it for your followers.
A "high-fantasy world" from you? Sounds good
That fantasy world of yours sounds quite intriguing. Please, tell us more!
There's a lot of potential in a world like that. So, more or less, a few generations into an industrial revolution with commonplace magic?

Never got out. He's still imprisoned in Sparkle's head, and likely will never escape.

Thanks!

Yes, the tech is roughly equivalent to 1920's technology. Some things have been delayed (mostly household technology), while other things have been advanced (industrial/scientific tech). For instance, they don't have the radio yet, but they managed to get a rocket with people to one of their two moons (which has alien life).
There are a bunch of different races, too. There are the fliers - demons, angels, and fairies; the self-enhanced - orcs, trolls, and dwarves; and the spell casters - goblins, elves, and humans. And then there are the floaza: venomous, six-legged, feathered, moon-dwelling, wolf-like wizards. Because reasons.

Great concept, great reason. "'Cause why the hell not!" is one of my favorite reasonings, too.
Feel free to post as much as you want from this non-pony world building, it certainly is interesting.
Oh, and if you ever publish something, tell us about it! :D
So kind of like The Legend of Korra?

But more so. Unlike LoK's non-benders, there is nobody without magic in my world.
Do what you must, just let us read it :)
finally found the answer.
was curious why Twilight Velvet was fine
when she met shining, when she had found Sparkrovitar a few chapters ago.
