FRIDAY NIGHT RANT!
Well, maybe not that much of a rant. There are certainly things I'd love to rant about, but I'll spare you that. Two things and a link, if you'd care to follow me below the jump:
1) I have another chapter of Mayor's Break Time ready to go. I'm going to wait until Sunday to post it, however. Part of this is strategic – Friday and Saturday tend to have the greatest volume of stuff uploaded, so there's a good chance that since my story is neither M-rated nor about the most popular characters, it'll just get lost amidst the usual suspects. Also, I want to let it rest for a day and see if there's anything else I want to rewrite in it.
2) For various reasons, I've been feeling kinda down lately. This could become an opportunity, however. The more miserable I am, the more I might be able to come up with ideas for Lows And Highs. In the meantime, I'll just keep distracting myself by watching my favourite anime, The Twelve Kingdoms. Maybe some other shows too.
PS — One of my followers, CoffeeMinion, has written an excellent story that he feels – and I agree – deserves more recognition. Here it is. Well, he's got far more followers than I do, and I don't know (and am too lazy to check to see) how many people follow me who don't follow him, but if my shameless plug gets even one new person to read one of the best crack-ship-fics I've seen in a long time, then it'll have been worth it.

Sorry you're feeling down. I've been a bit that way myself, too. Work's been kicking my hindquarters, and it seems like there's never enough time to do all the stuff that would be good.
