Multiple Folder Submissions

This is basically just a rant. Ignore if you're not interested.

I like groups. I like their functionality, I like that they spread stories out further than they naturally would, I like that people can subscribe tot hem and be able to find stories that they like faster and easier than they normally could.

But one thing irks me about them.

When I log in, and find that I have 100+ notifications from my feed, and when I click on it, a huge chunk of it is the same story being submitted to about 15 different folders in the same group.
It's a minor thing, I know, and it shouldn't matter. But it pisses me off. I limit myself to one, perhaps two folders (if one of them is a generic submissions folder) per group, so as not to deluge people with

I only submit my fics to the folders they are supposed to be in even if it is many for one fic.

I deal with the same thing as a group member for TwiSpike Kingdom, people adding stories that have no godly business being in the group folders and I get all the notifications every time something is added! I feel your pain man!

I get what you're saying, it is kind of annoying. I only ever post one story per folder. No exceptions.

I stopped looking at my feed for almost anything nowadays. I visit it one day and then by tomorrow it's already breaking past 400 updates
