The sequel finally has a name!!!!! · 6:53pm Jan 6th, 2016

Seriously, I was getting tired of just calling it "the upcoming sequel to In the Broad Daylight." However, a name just never came to me, but yes I finally have a name for the sequel to my first pony story.

So what's it gonna be called?

In old Manehattan!

Here is the short summary:

After earning their cutie marks, the Crusaders head to Manehattan along with Applejack to visit Babs Seeds and the Oranges. During their stay they come across old faces having trouble dealing with the past.

Almost in a grand tradition of the original story (Which was published after season 2 ended and happens between season 2 and 3) this story is going to be published after season 5 obviously but also happens between season 5 and the upcoming season 6.

So when is this blasted thing finally going up? As soon as I finish Possession in the Crystal Empire, since that story kind of happens before it and has some further character development for one of the characters that will appear in it. Soon as I'm done with Possession, In old Manehattan, will be sent through the approval process.

So what stories are important to this story? Well In the Broad Daylight is of course the precursor and characters from that story will be returning. But I'm still aiming for it that people can read In old Manehattan without being forced to read the previous story. Other stories in The Equestria Tales series: Tango, The Time Keeper of Ponyville and Possession in the Crystal Empire, will be referred to and some parts of all four stories tie into this one but even so In old Manehattan should still be a story that can be read on it's own. References will get brief explanations within the context of the story. You'll not get a "you have to read this story to understand this" from me. :pinkiehappy:

That's all for now.

Until later.
