I wasn't active last year, not even through blogging, so consider this my update... and goodbye. Sorry to say, but I think it's high time I take my leave. It's been an up and down two and a half years on this site, but I don't think I'll regret it in the end.

No, really. Why? What could they possibly be doing to harm the site? The best I can guess is causing more traffic, but is it really so much that a ban is necessary? The site has almost always ran fine for me.

3629051 Regardless of who made it, it's still no fun.
All blogs, forum post, and stories, as well as the coding to run this site. take up X amount of space. When everyone is filling such space with those bandwagon posts, it takes away space that would have gone towards stories or the coding to run the site.
They have been banned for over a year at least now.
That is the explanation that was given to me.
Be thankful that they have not jumped in and banned bandwagon stories, such as the masturbates series, which had gotten completely out-of-hand. (Like the peach bandwagon a while back.)

I would definitely not recommend banning such fics, though, because if it gets a new writer writing, then I feel it is not a bad thing. (As long as they make the minimum requirements for this site.)
