Hello Everypony!! MixMassBasher here and I’m here to tell you facts on one of my favourite stories The Cupcake Chronicles by Milesprower06.
Why 20? Because the fun will become doubled.
1) The Author
The story itself was written by mileprower06 with contributions by Ace2401, pre-reader and co-author, the latter being deceased. (May he rest in peace)
2) Alternate Ending
The story itself is an alternate ending to Cupcakes a gory story about Pinkie turning Rainbow Dash into Cupcakes. The original story was written by Sergeant Sprinkles.
Rainbow Dash in this story is saved by Applejack and taken to the hospital.
3) When was it written
The story’s first chapter was posted on 8th March 2012 on fimfiction to the last chapter posted on 14th May 2012. This makes The Cupcake Chronicles the first story milesprower06 posted on Fimfiction.
Although his actual first story written by milesprower06 was Spirit of Loyalty. The story is about Rainbow Dash discovering she's missed the cut for the Wonderbolts with her friends helping her see that not all dreams can be realized.
4) Ratings
The story itself has a 94% like ratio currently with 1200 likes to 76 dislikes. (What’s with the haters?)
There is a total of about above 17000 views on the story with about 1300 comments.
5) Tags
The story has 7 different Tags. Each one represents different segments in the story.
The Gore, Dark, Tragedy and Sad Tag refers to Rainbow Dash losing her wings and the Cupcake Victims of Pinkamena Diane Pie.
The Slice of Life Tag refers to rainbow trying to move on from the incident.
The Sex and Romance Tag refers to the romance of Rainbow Dash and Applejack’s romance as the story develops.

There should also be an Alternate Universe Tag what with the alternate ending and all but whatever.
On a side note with the new Tags there should also be the Drama Tag which represents the last part of the story with Rainbow choosing between Applejack or the Wonderbolts.
6) Timeline
The story itself is set after Season 1 cannon so anything after that isn’t in or mentioned the story.

7) Sequels
The story has spawned a couple of sequels by milesprower06 for it’s popularity. The sequels would be Cupcake Chronicles: Learning To Laugh Again and Cupcake Chronicles: Twilight’s Thank You Card, the later as of now is still being updated.
8) Allusions
The story has made a ton of references to other media. From TF2 to The Rainbow Factory to Harry Potter, this is why the story has so much reread value just to catch all these subtle references.
9) Story Arcs
The story can be sub-divided into many small story arcs.
These story arcs would be Rainbow’s Recovery, The Memorial For The Victims of The Cupcake Killer, Confessions of Love Between Rainbow Dash And Applejack, The Diary of The Cupcake Killer, The Return of The Cupcake Killer + Rainbow’s Morale Dilemma. Also, there are flashbacks to the past here and there in the story.
10) Deleted Scenes
In the Author’s Notes for Cupcake Chronicles, there is mention of some edited and deleted scenes in the original writing for the story.

11) Characters Involved
Although the story primary focuses on Rainbow Dash mostly there are a multitude of characters mentioned, take part and or in the story. These Ponies are The Rest of the Mane 6 + Spike, The Two Princesses, Pinkamena, The Cupcake Victims, Rainbow’s Parents, Lyra and many more.
12) The Victims
Although it was never stated in Cupcakes the number of victims Pinkie killed but in Cupcake Chronicles there is a specific number: 10.
These Ponies are Cotton Cloudy, Carrot Top, Sparkler, Blues, Ms. Tropical Storm, Colgate, Cloud Kicker, Seafoam, Vanilla Skies, Bon Bon and finally nearly Rainbow Dash.
On a side note, did you know Fluttershy would have been a possible pony that Pinkie would have killed next?
Also, why not Prince Blueblood?

14) Popularity
Cupcake Chronicles was initially Milesprower06 most popular online project but by January 2013 after surging in popularity over six months, Letters of a Disgruntled Friendship Student, at 353,000 hits, surpassed The Cupcake Chronicles as my most popular online project by Milesprower06.
Cupcake Chronicles is the second most liked story by Milesprower06 the first being Letters From A Disgruntled Friendship Student.

16) Equestria Daily
Milesprower06 posted this story to Equestria Daily but was rejected because Equestria Daily doesn’t accept self-inserts, grimdark, or out-of-character comedies.
Seriously? Does anyone even remember PARTY.MOV?
17) Negative Criticism (Seriously? Who the Buck.)
There are some people who seem to not like the story in general.
There is a Blog Post by Milesprower06 that mentions a dispute with him and a disgruntled and picky reader alexanderhunt88 here. alexanderhunt88 says that he is not a fan of Appledash and Cupcakes. (Then why did you read it? Also, Love is Love don’t hate on any shippings dude no matter how weird.)
There was also a Review/Comparison of Cupcakes and Cupcake Chronicles by BronyWriter here. He gives the story a 4.5/10 though he did say that the story first two segments were the best and it was one of the better Cupcakes spinoffs.
Note To Self: Do a Good Review on The Cupcake Chronicles sometime in the future.
18) Positive Impact
Despite negativity there are some people inspired by the story.

Wow, I'm not sure if I should be flattered or creeped out at all the digging you did to get all this information from my blogs, from multiple sites.
FYI, the original posting date for the first part of the Cupcake Chronicles, A Precious Rainbow was posted on June 30th, 2011 on Fanfiction.net, three-and-a-half months after considering myself a Brony, and a tad more than six months before I came here to Fimfiction. I haven't been active on Fanfiction.net or DeviantArt for at least two years; not enough reader interaction.
I did a quick read of BronyWriter's review. I quickly got used to the heavy criticism of turning it into an AppleDash fic, he's nowhere near the only one who believed that ruined it. I'm not sure there's much credit to the claim that the Chronicles is the most popular alternate ending, I always thought Rocket to Insanity had that honor.
Yeah, I remember getting Spirit of Loyalty, an extremely mediocre fic in every sense, onto EqD, but I couldn't push the the rest of the Chronicles on there, as they had cracked down severely on fanfiction guidelines, the primary reason I still boycott them to this day.
But all in all, this was a nice trip down memory lane.
3589158 The posting date was actually for when posted on fimfiction. Most of the information I got was from reading the story, seeing the ratings and blog posts you have done and the wiki.
And why should you be creeped out? I'm just a fan of your work. And I am actually debating whether to do an actual good review of Cupcake Chronicles or not.
