Dreams are weird. Enough said. Guess I'm too excited about the next Zelda game cause I had a dream relating to that. Not that I mind, of course. Though what I dreamt probably won't make it into any new Zelda game.
While to start off, the design of this Legend of Zelda dream version looked like the design and theme of the teaser video that was shown before Wind Waker was released instead.
So, the dream starts with Child Link exiting a mysterious cavern from behind, leading to a large wilderness outside. The scene pans out revealing the entire woodlands was within a great canyon. And right smack in the center was the Great Deku Tree. The Great Deku looked like a cross between Kabuki from the Kirby TV Show and the version of the Great Deku from Wind Waker complete with an entire dungeon inside which can be seen from the large hollered out hole from the top of the Great Deku.
With the design of the Great Deku, I'm guessed that this dream version was set in the Adult Link of the Zelda timeline between Wind Waker and Phantom Tracks cause The Great Deku mentions that he conversed with another Link before him that uses a baton.
Anywho, The Great Deku Tree, after a long and tedious dialogue which I don't bother to remember, instructs Link to play his instrument; the Ozz, to learn a new song.
The Ozz!?! Really!?!
What the hell brain!?!?
Urgh... dream logic is my only explanation for that.
Back on point though, the song that Link eventually learns is a rendition of Zelda's Lullaby. The "screen" circles around him as he plays the... the Ozz...
With the song played, the scene cuts to Zelda trapped in a dungeon and dressed in... dressed in what looked like what Princess Leia wore when she was captured but somehow even more skimpier... I'll spare you the details...
I figure the song that Link just played was what helped encouraged Zelda to try and break the chains that bound her. Don't know how she can hear it being so far away though.
And that's when I woke up.
I definitely needed a cold shower after that...
