Okay then... this is getting really weird....
Strange looking ponies of all three types have been popping up all over Ponyville- earth ponies, Pegasus, and unicorns. They are usually seen alone, trotting off doing things by themselves, and the don't speak to anybody else before vanishing as quickly as the appeared. They do stand out from regular ponies, though. The strange ponies seem to be a dusky gray in color, with very skinny bodies, short muzzles, and ridiculously big round eyes. The mysterious ponies seem to flicker in and out, and really don't seem aware of their surroundings. Pinkie Pie and Spike are uncertain about their origins, but Spike claims there is something eerily familiar about them. If anyone has any information, please tell the authorities at Dream Castle as soon as possible! Thank you for your cooperation!

I say that this is all just a big hoax. Maybe ponies are just spending more time with whatshername, Port O' Bella or something, than they'd be willing to admit. Even if there is something actually going on, I'm perfectly sure that it can be explained with physics and science, and has absolutely nothing to do with ghosts or whatever stories are being passed around. Ghosts don't exis…what in the name of—what was that thing just now?! You saw it too, right?

Perhaps these ponies are out of phase with the rest of the world, it would account for their 'flickering'. Some past magical mishap gone wrong? Or maybe we are viewing another time, another Ponyville?
