There clearly needs to be more Dusk Shine stories with actual plot!

Also the last few times I turned off adblock I was loaded on malware and viruses... had to wipe my whole computer with system restore so >.> no

Sorry to get side tracked but I noticed you made a point of disabling your adblocker. I understand you want to support your favorite website, but it's not worth exposing yourself to nasty internet STDs for.

You should still adblock. It's like having safe sex with a condom, adblock is a condom for safe internet browsing. These days the mainstream ad providers are very VERY nasty in terms of tracking and profiling.

Also not every adblock add-on is created equal, there are many many unscrupulous developers having their add-ons spy on you. These days the most trustworthy appears to be uBlock Origin.

But that is not enough. At a very minimum you should also be running HTTPS Everywhere and Privacy Badger. They are both developed by the excellent EFF who have been fighting really hard for privacy and security on the internet.

HTTPS Everywhere: A lot of websites have optional encryption/security that is disabled by default. HTTPS Everywhere makes encryption mandatory. Yes that includes fimfiction.net who have this optional security but do not enforce it.

Privacy Badger: Heuristic based tracker detection. Adblockers work with blacklists, if something's not on it, it's not blocked. Privacy Badger detects those who are not on the list by looking how likely you're being tracked based on the website's behavior.

These are the absolute basics every user should have on their browser of choice. I would recommend more but they're unfortunately very hands-on. You can't just use them and forget that they exist, requiring constant intervention.

Browse safely, use a condom, use an adblocker.

One thousand people are horny horsefuckers :rainbowlaugh:

Congrats, I really liked this story!

On another subject though, AdBlock works better.

That story was cute
Any ideas on the next story

You know this requires a sequal...poor Ole Dusk has no idea what he's in for...it would make a great read.

They return to Cyberspace. :trollestia:

3564811 I loved that show......never lerned any thing from it though....

3564478 I was gonna say 1k up votes maybe its a sign you should write a sequel

Already been commissioned for it. Gonna be a while. Ya can't rush perfection.

3566951 oh of course. Rushing writing is The worst thing you can do to it. I'm interested to see what you do with it though. While on one hand I'm sure it'll be mature again I'm actually hoping you'll have a bit of slice of life in there. It's an interesting character you've created.

Edit: Stupid phone corrected I'm to in

He's a socially awkward character, and that's something I have in spades!
