So I know I haven't published any new chapters over the last few months, but I've honestly been trying to focus on getting my college done. I'm already in my 6th week, and I just need to get through five more after this before I'm completely done with schooling. I'm honestly getting a little stressed with this because a few of the classes are getting a bit tougher to catch up on and if I don't get a good grade (by that I mean greater than a D), in at least two of those classes, I might be facing a worst-case scenario of not earning my degree.
I've been trying to keep myself and my creativity stable by pretty much writing stories I may (not) be publishing on the site at least for a long while. I guess you could say I'm in a bit of a writer's block for TMS as to how I'm going to get it finished in 50 chapters. I think once things calm down I'll try to come up with a transcript or something for what I want to do so I could organize it accordingly to that goal set of chapters.
I apologize for my lack of updates and I appreciate you guys being patient with me. I'm about a quarter done with the latest chapter, but I'll try to add some stuff here and there if something comes up. Until next time,

First, take your time and finish school. Getting collage down is much more important than finishing your fan fiction. As much as I love it, school comes first. Now, if you need to take a break from all your study and use your writing as said break, that's fine, but don't feel bad about needing to put the story on hold because of your classes.
Second, don't think about trying to finish the story in 50 chapters. That's what sequels are for: to continue on the story because you've got more to show. After all, Ozzy hasn't met any of the main six yet, or seen any of the other side characters that make this fandom so wonderful. And we still have all of Shiny's family to see. How would they react to Ozzy and his past? Given what we've heard about Shiny's mom, she'd probably see Ozzy as an adoptive son. And the fact he's making her daughter happy would cause her to look out for Ozzy, and of course tease her daughter as only a mother can.
In closing, I can say for sure that I'll be able to wait patiently for an update, and anyone else that isn't really should get over themselves.
Dude, take your time, your degree is far more important than a fic. I love this story to bits because it's so much fun to read, but waiting another five weeks is nothing mate. I have other stories to read and some I'm still finding out about as I browse while waiting. Do what you need to do to get your life in order. If people really enjoy your story they can wait for a bit longer. And as Ledgion said, don't make such a goal for the story, there is a LOT you can do if you want, and make a sequel. He made some good points.
But as stated before, no worries, don't stress yourself trying to please everyone, worry about yourself first and foremost. We aren't going anywhere :P Good luck with school mate.

My point is you do your thing with the things, and most of your readers will wait oh so patiently for the next chapter of TMS.
Admittedly I only recently got around to reading the story, but I have enjoyed it. Though college, from what I recall it tends to be a 'Time-Sucking Vampire', and needs to be slain. Good luck on all of those things
