Although it left it, it knew that it was right, it made it down, because it didn't know what's up.

    You were the Chosen One!

    Alas, it was not so.

So as many of you may have surmised, I have violently but silently passed away.

That is to say I am dead.

Not in the literal sense, but possibly in the literary sense.

To make things short, I had a bit of a breakdown, a couple of other mundane life-things and a lack of time to even consider writing.

    Microstory X - Awkward Twilight

    It happened at a bookstore.

    "Hello," said the clerk.

    "Morning," Twilight mumbled back.

The clerk returned a strained smile back and then went back to work.

Twilight then realised in her half-tired state that it wasn't morning, it was the evening, the store was closed and it wasn't a bookstore, and the clerk wasn't there and she had been talking to a cardboard sign all this time.

    Microstory IX - The Existence

Before Twilight could say anything, Pinkie held up her hoof.

"Twilight, stop, before you say anything. I have to say something!"

    Silence followed.

"What were you going to say?"

    "...I forgot."

"Pinkie... what are you doing on my doorstep?"

"Twilight, you have to help me with my application!"

"What's this?" She held the documents up. "These look like job... rejections?"

Micro Story VIII - The Rock

It started with a slight clicking sound.

Like the fingernails tapping on a tabletop.

    Click. Click. Click.

There it sat on her desk.

    The rock.

Eyes fixated on the inanimate object, Twilight examined it with such rigour.

    But it stood still.

    Yet still was that sound.

    Click. Click. Click.

    Then a different sound.

    Crack.

    Micro Story VII

Twilight glanced out the windows at the dim backdrop of stars.

Night time, she thought, and lazily went back to reading.

Then she returned back to the window.

    No wait, that's space!

Out of there, scoundrel! · 12:26am Oct 25th, 2015

Now that Human Blood is out of the box of shame I can now enjoy writing without the added pressure of public scrutiny— oh, I see what you did there you dirty scoundrel, you. Between editing for a few fics, and general work, I'm happy to report that I've written just about close to a four thousand to five thousand words for Human Blood. If you like the story, feel free to cajole me in comments.

Or cajole me anyway, you heartless people.

New chapter should be up in no more than a couple of days, or longer if misfortune and horror strikes.

:yay:

I would cheer more, but I doubt a bearded 30 something german in a short skirt jumping around and flailing his arms is the kind of motivation you need.

You don't like the feature box?

Why am I imagining Doctor Hyde from "The Pagemaster" when I read the words horror strikes?

So do humans only follow virgin unicorns? I guess Twilight might fit the bill even with the clip on wings.

3494473 I would appreciate the effort for sure. Likely motivation would be to threaten to show that image to me. Oh why.
Side note: Please don't.

3494484 Yeah, I'm uncomfortable with being in the feature box, especially if the like ratio is particularly high. It's nice, but it's also a bit of pressure to perform well, which might be a good thing, but starts turning a recreational pastime into something semi-serious.

3494516 Because it's that time of year, mwuhahahah!

3494590 I'll leave it up to your imagination!

3494629 heh. Yeah I suppose. Still it brought me to your story so, I'm glad it was their! Can't wait to see where it goes! :ajsmug:

Quick! Everyone get it back in the box of shame!

I want to cajole, but I'm not good at it, so I'll just sit here, silently judging you.

3494788 Noooooo!
3495193 Oh, the silent judging, not the silent judging!

3494788 That's where I saw it this morning! :pinkiehappy:

3494629

I have a picture of a bearded man in a pink fairy princess tutu of you want that instead.
:moustache: also second chapter again reminds me of the pagemaster for some reason. (The book not the movie)

Yay! :yay: Looking forward to the new chapter~~~~ I'm really enjoying this story and wondering where it will lead...what other stories shall it tell?
