The CMC got their cutie marks? Eh, not something I care too much about. It was okay, but a bit rushed and not exactly what I expected. DT was a pain as always. Granted her family is a stereotype for middle class misery, but whatever. Honestly I don't see what the big deal is about this episode. I wouldn't be surprised to see a spinoff cartoon soon. Bottom line, I give it a solid 5 out of 10.

Oh, fine. I'm still stuck on Apples and Wheat. I still have two other stories nearly ready for posting. No, I'm not just ignoring A&W. Matter of fact, I've rewritten about a 2k in words six times. It's just not working out lately. Plus there's a lot of family and work stuff in the way for time to write. Sorry, but I will get it up and going as soon as I can.

As soon as the episode started on a musical note, I was figuring it was going to be one of those episodes. I mean, it went okay concerning the subject matter, and it could have gone a lot worse, but I can live with how it turned out.

, we actually got to see DT's mother, Spoiled Rich, so I'm just gonna wait and see what the fans can do with the new info from this episode.
Middle Class? Yeah, given how I'm in the middle class, seen middle class and all that, and how rich Diamond Tiara is, no. That's upper class. Perhaps lower upper class, given how they're acting, but they're loaded.
As for the episode, I think you're being a bit grumpy, or perhaps, since this episode was years in the making, people had sky reaching perceptions of what the episode was supposed to be. As is, this was a fantastic episode. A bit rushed, but I thought it was splendid and heartwarming and so above 5/10. That's too low for this.

Hmm yeah the expectations were rather high. I thought they'd save the CMC for the finale.
3460782 I always think it's best to go in with as low as expectations as possible.
I mean, I went into the first Avengers movie with high expectations with what everyone was saying and...I was disappointed. It didn't live up to the hype.
However, then I watched it a second time and I found it to be much better than I previously thought. I don't think it's 'super fantastic' {thought the second one was better} but I do believe it to be a really good movie for what it is. The same can happen for hyped ideas or episodes in shows.
Rushed? This was five seasons in the making. This was something a long time coming.

Though I will admit, I sat with my mouth agape through those whole last 4 minutes, because I'm honestly a little shocked they pulled this one.

what was rushed in all ways was DT's redemption; that should have been an entire season in the making, not one episode (unless the CMC become proxy bearers for the EOH and hit her with the deus ex rainbow cannon)

I would place them in the upper class category (though only with respect to ponyville) and assume that spoiled married filthy for his money and prestige (shown by [headcanon] the fact that she took his last name when, being a mare dominated society, the tradition would be for him to take hers) Her attitude of the importance of reputation makes me think she's a middle class gold digger
