I accept it for what it is. It's a 1960s little kid movie. And for being that, it's fine. Godzilla is a character of many, many different flavors across his franchise and pop culture and little kids do love giant monsters. How many of us G-fans got hooked when we were less than 12 year old? Quite a few I'd gander, I saw Godzilla 2000 when I was 5.
Could it be better? Oh HELL yah! Is it a good movie? Probably not. But can we still laugh at the narmy elements and enjoy the cheesy fun? Likely. So I just take it in stride as that and carry on. After all, if its harmless and gave us something to laugh at, even if it's Minya's god aweful voice, what's the real harm?

3459511 I know where you're coming from, i mean I like the movies too (GMK being my favorite). And i also love Mlp for great episodes like Twilight's Kingdom, A Canterlot Wedding, Make New Friends but Keep Discord, etc, but I still treat the episodes that flop like Boast Busters, Bridle Gossip, and One Bad Apple as what they are. Doesn't mean everything stupid that comes out of Godzilla is bad, it's normally what makes the franchise so memorable. That drop kick on Megalon, Godzilla using his breath to fly, and, I'm gonna say it, the entirety of Final Wars. But Godzilla's Revenge is a different kind of stupid, one that takes away the charm that the franchise had. It's a more childish movie, but no goofy things being done by the monsters, unless the scene where the son is playing with his dad's tail is in this one, cause i forget. The villain looks stupid, and from a franchise that gave us Space Godzilla, Biolantte, and freaking DESATROYAH!!! that's actually kinda pathetic. In terms of stupidity, the closest I can think to him is King Caesar if only for the pissed off ears and redirecting beams through his eyes. And there wasn't really much fighting when that wart-covered cancer monster needed to be erradicated from existance. At least when Godzilla fought Hedorah (who's design I oddly like), he fried that shit pile with electricity and tore it's eggs out from it's charred corpse. Actually that's probably the most brutal death in Godzilla history next to big G getting a torpedo shot out his neck and his atomic breath coming out the same hole until it killed him.
Wow, I digressed a little bit, didn't I? Anyway, bottom line: lots of great franchises have great episodes/movies but I'm still gonna treat the bad as what they are.
